    • trained on a success only recruitment model, as they progress to Senior
    • Consultant status and above, their expertise is expanded to include Retained
    • Search as a service offering for higher level client requirements.

    • Blue Pelican has successfully fulfilled all retained assignments undertaken
    • Guarantee for new clients – If we do not provide a short list of candidates who fit the brief, we will refund the initial fee

    • Contingency recruitment makes up the bulk of the agency’s workload
    • Because all consultants are trained in search methodologies, some of these techniques are utilised as standard when managing contingency assignments

    • All candidates interviewed by trained consultants
    • Initial Interviews on registration
    • Candidates re-evaluated in line with client requirement (2 nd interview)
    • Role profile forwarded and candidate briefed
    • Employment eligibility confirmed
    • Optional Psychometric testing (retained search only)
    • Reference checks, qualification checks (if relevant)
    • Consent and written permission to submit gained

    • Blue Pelican complies with recruitment industry best practice codes of conduct and legal requirements
    • Consultants undergo regular, ongoing training
    • In-house compliance officer oversees any recruitment advertising
    • Regular data quality and suppression checks select a random cross section of registered candidates
    • We require candidates to remove all details pertaining to age and other potentially discriminatory factors from all documentation prior to submission so it cannot be a deciding factor on candidate relevance
