What is advertising ang how do the companies advertise?  Advertising = a form of communication intended to persuade an audience to purchase or take some action upon products  Most companies use advertising agencies that create advertisements  newspapers, magazines, the Internet, radio, television, cinema, posters, mail etc.  depends on the budget
  4. 4.  launching new product: advertising + sales promotions + price reductions and competitions  best way: word-of-mouth advertising  today it has developed into viral marketing  new strategies: blogs, online forums, commenting on blogs and social networking websites, making podcasts, putting videos on YouTube

  14. 14. In 2001, the artwork from Haddon Sundblom's 1962 original painting was used as the basis for an animated TV commercial starring the Coca-ColaSanta. The ad was created by Academy Award-winning animator Alexandre Petrov.
