    This presentation is a well documented information, I haven´t seen all the movies mentioned, but I recognize the great momentum of its cinematography. I wonder: where is Jocker´s movie? the pioneer of the Indian movies? doesn´t it deserve a special location?

    Hi malvin,

    First of all let me appreciate your hard work for putting this statistics in slides .

    I have few view that I would like to in your attention.

    - Some movies has made good fortune from their overseas selling rights. So (Ruppes-Doller conversion with respect to their times comes in effects)
    - From 2003-2007 India has constants +9 % economic growth and during this time disposable income of common Indian citizen has increased.
    o That leads to increase in spending and you can see most of movies (around 20-22) is falling in this last 4-5 years time duration.
    - Total income in movies in Bollywood includes (copyrights cost+ selling of Movie DVD + selling of Songs DVD+ overseas selling)
    o In India some movies can make their fortune from their songs only. even though movies is flop.

    But still you have done remarkable job.
    Here is my rating on some movies from your deck

    Must see: 1,5,6,8,9,10,11,15,17,18,21,24

    You can see : 2,3,7,13,14,16,20,23,25

    Avoid : 4,12,19,22.

    Top three movie as per me is 11,8,17 in respective order.

    Oh, these are not the movies of all time hits or flops! Certainly not!! Once looking at the Gross Receipts, though it looks unverified figures, I doubt the figures of Race. It was a super flop. Plus, add inflation and other financial measures, some of these may be in that category but all definitely not.

    Well this is not a sort of a critics award... its about the movies that the masses saw most ... equating to the most money made.

    Of course it does not reflect the inflation rate, which I am planning to make ... next
