A word which takes the place of a
noun is called a pronoun.
Subject or personal pronouns are
placed in front of the verb (or in the
subject part of the sentence).
Notice that “he” is used for the masculine and “she” is used
for the feminine.

Choose six of the nouns that you wrote
Write a complete sentence using the noun as
the subject of the sentence. Leave two blank lines
between each sentence.
Underline the complete subject once and the
complete predicate twice.
Re-write the sentence on the line below and
replace the noun with a pronoun.
