    • 2. Transport Support Scheme ( 交通費支援計劃 )
      • Offer transport subsidy ( 津貼 ) to job-seekers or working people who live in remote districts ( 偏遠地區 ) including Yuen Long, Tuen Mun, the Northern District ( 北區 ) and outlying islands ( 離島 )
      • Aims to use transport subsidy ( 交通津貼 ) to encourage low-income groups in these districts to find jobs
    • 3. Child Development Fund ( 兒童發展基金 )
      • In 2008, the government used HK$300 million ( 三億 ) to set up the Child Development Fund.
      • This programme aims to reduce intergenerational poverty ( 跨代貧窮 ) by helping children aged 10 to 16 from low-income families plan their future.
      • NGOs will allocate ( 分配 ) a tutor ( 導師 ) for each child to help them set up goals in areas like education, vocational training ( 職業訓練 ) and skill enhancement ( 提升 ).
      • The programme also helps children develop a saving habit ( 儲蓄習慣 ).
      • At the same time, each child has HK$15 000 for their future training.
