Where is Barton – on – Sea Located? Barton on Sea is located on the south east coast of England in Christchurch Bay in the County of Hampshire. It is found to the east of Bournemouth.

All these factors produce high rates of erosion. This is a problem because there is a lot of property such as houses, hotels, holiday parks and roads close to the cliff edge. Barton is also a tourist resort .
