    2. 3. What is diegetic sound? What is non-diegetic sound? <ul><li>Diegetic sound is sound that originates from within the scene. The characters CAN hear it. </li></ul><ul><li>Non-diegetic sound is sound that has been added in post production (after filming). The audience can hear but the characters cannot. </li></ul>
