  • 2. In Spanish there are subjectpronouns just like in English. Asubject pronoun refers to a personor persons and often takes theplace of a person’s name. Forexample:I= YOYOU= TÚHE= ÉLMIGUEL= Él
  • 3. In Spanish there are actually 12 subject pronouns. Today we will look at 3 of these.YO ITÚ YOU (this is the informal you)UD.(USTED) YOU (this is the formal or polite you.) In Spanish there are 2 ways to say “YOU”. TÚ is used with people you know or people your own age. UD.(USTED) is used with adults, teachers and people you don’t know.
