  • 3. The TVET Sector of Mindanao
    The TVET Sector has grown in the last five (5) years (from 2005 to the present)…
  • 4. Mindanao Private schools with TVET courses grew from 2005 to 2009 in an ave. growth rate of 22%; public schools with TVET courses had a lesser growth rate of 3%.

  • 5. 2009 distribution data shows that Mindanao Tech-Voc Providers consists of 91% from the Private sector and only 9% from the Public sector…
  • 6. Of the 593 private and 61 public tech-voc training providers, Region XI (Davao) has the highest number of TVTPs, followed by Regions XII (SOCCKSARGEN) and
    Region X (Northern Mindanao)*
