  4. 4. Using Picasa for Images <ul><li>http://picasa.google.com </li></ul><ul><li>Sign in using your gmail account </li></ul><ul><li>Upload picture to your Picasa account </li></ul><ul><ul><li>This again is a web-based program so it will be accessible to you on any computer </li></ul></ul>

Using Google Docs <ul><li>http://docs.google.com </li></ul><ul><li>Sign in using your gmail account </li></ul><ul><li>Be sure any Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files you have created have been saved as a 2003 file </li></ul><ul><li>Select upload file </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Select the file you wish to bring in to Google docs by clicking first on Browse </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Then Upload file </li></ul></ul>

Publisher <ul><li>Storyboard the layout of your newsletter </li></ul><ul><li>Start Microsoft Publisher </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Select Newsletter </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Choose a Template and Double Click on it </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Now Zoom in and start making changes to your newsletter </li></ul></ul>
  8. 8. Smart Art Using Word <ul><li>Start a Word Document </li></ul><ul><li>Select Insert </li></ul><ul><li>Select Smart Art </li></ul><ul><li>Select Cycle and then choose the one you want </li></ul><ul><li>Now you can type the text </li></ul><ul><li>You can also change the colors </li></ul>

PowerPoint <ul><li>Start PowerPoint </li></ul><ul><li>Select New </li></ul><ul><li>Double Click on Blank Presentation </li></ul><ul><li>Then click on the Design Tab (at top of window) </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Select a design…you can always change it later </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Now just start typing </li></ul><ul><ul><li>The Home tab lets you make formatting changes </li></ul></ul><ul><li>The Office button (upper left corner of screen will let you do a SAVE AS command and save to your desired location </li></ul>
