    • Design and deliver instructional presentations that integrate computers/technology and content area of study
    • Explore, evaluate, and use a variety of hardware and software resources

  • 4. Using Picasa for Images
    • http://picasa.google.com
    • Sign in using your gmail account
    • Upload picture to your Picasa account
      • This again is a web-based program so it will be accessible to you on any computer
  • 5. Using Google Docs
    • http://docs.google.com
    • Sign in using your gmail account
    • Be sure any Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files you have created have been saved as a 2003 file
    • Select upload file
      • Select the file you wish to bring in to Google docs by clicking first on Browse
      • Then Upload file

    • Read about WebQuests

    • Look at Examples

    • Storyboard (pencil/paper) your WebQuest
    • Create and publish your WebQuest

  • 7. Publisher
    • Storyboard the layout of your newsletter
    • Start Microsoft Publisher
      • Select Newsletter
      • Choose a Template and Double Click on it
      • Now Zoom in and start making changes to your newsletter
  • 8. Smart Art Using Word
    • Start a Word Document
    • Select Insert
    • Select Smart Art
    • Select Cycle and then choose the one you want
    • Now you can type the text
    • You can also change the colors
  • 9. PowerPoint
    • Start PowerPoint
    • Select New
    • Double Click on Blank Presentation
    • Then click on the Design Tab (at top of window)
      • Select a design…you can always change it later
    • Now just start typing
      • The Home tab lets you make formatting changes
    • The Office button (upper left corner of screen will let you do a SAVE AS command and save to your desired location

    • You have several projects now that you are working on:
      • WebQuests
      • Publisher – Newsletter
      • Word – Smart Art
      • PowerPoint Presentation
    • Using a variety of resources:
      • Google Docs
      • SlideShare
