Since LG’s foundation in 1947, we have been persistently respecting customers with a wide variety of breakthrough products and services in Korea. It means that we have been continually considering customer value innovation as the key to providing convenience to people for more than 60 years. Furthermore, we concentrated our values and priorities on the customer instead of merely focusing on profits that could be earned.
This unyielding and tireless devotion to customer value is accomplished through ‘People Respecting Management’, which itself is based on creativity and autonomy. The core of ‘People Respecting Management is “Harmony”, which is our founding Chairman’s management philosophy. Its meaning is not limited to just familism or paternalism. But rather, it means to distribute profits among employees through a practice of mutual understanding based on rationality which is best for all parties concerned.
We will continue to provide customer value to earn sincere respect from people all over the world beyond our first 60 years. Far into the future, we will carry forth our vision that people will have a better life by using our products and services. We will try to contribute to society and humankind through our passion and can-do spirit towards our customers and the future.
