Its designed to befast and small. It can be run and installed even onvery old hardware (Pentium I) and its light andportable.The entire operating system and all theapplications are runned from the RAM (if theresenough on the PC) and this grants greatperformaces to Puppy Linux.Even if its possibile to install it on the Hard Drivelike the other Linux distributions, this is notnecessary, because the OS can be used from CDor USB without changing any setting on the hostPCs OS.
