6. 6. NEA ENERGY LABEL
 7. 7. Definition of Global Warming

It is an increase in average temperature of the earth's near-surface air and oceans since the middle of the 20 th century & its projected continuation.

Also known as “the greenhouse effect”.

 8. 8. CAUSES OF GLOBAL WARMING

People thought resources were infinite.

Since industrial revolution, people have been using energy generated by carbon sources more daily.

Internal combustion engine

More carbon is released in form of CO2, alongside methane.

More CO2 in atmosphere = greenhouse effect= global warming

 9. 9. Effects of Global warming

Increase of temperature on earth by 3 to 5 deg. Cel. By yr 2100.

Rise of sea levels by at least 25m by year 2100.

 10. 11. Fossil fuels burnt that contribute to this

http://www.globalwarmingart.com/wiki/

 11. 12. CHANGES TO AIR-CONDITIONER GAS IN COMPLIANCE WITH KYOTO PROTOCOL R-22 Vs R-410A R22 & R410A
 12. 13. Why R-410A cannot affect the ozone layer? R-410A is not a CFC or an HCFC. It is called an HFC, or hydrofluorocarbon, and is made of hydrogen, fluorine, and carbon atoms. Because it has no chlorine , it won’t interact with the ozone layer once it breaks down. Save our earth's environment by using R-410A! Why R410A? 1999 2000 2006 2008
 13. 14. Why R410A ?
 14. 15. Definition of Refrigerant It is a substance or body which absorbs heat by evaporation and reject heat by condensation. Properties: Low boiling point Safe and non-toxic Non-flammable Non-corrosive to metal Odourless Ozone friendly (R407 & R410A) Working With R410A
 15. 16. With the relatively high density and high efficiency of R410A , it is possible to reduce the size of system components such as condensers, compressors, evaporators and piping, etc. As operating pressures are higher compared to that of R22 and R407c, all system components must be designed for suitability with R410A. High Working Pressure and R410A
 16. 17. Cleaner Production
 17. 18. Definition of CP

The United Nations define it as:

“ as a concept that gives guidance in optimising industrial production process”

It increases productivity by efficient use of raw materials, energy and water, promote better environmental performance by reducing sources f waste & emissions, and reduce the impact of products in their lifestyle by means of design and cost effectiveness.

 18. 19. INNOVATIONS IN MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC
 19. 20. The new HAB (hard alkyl benzene) refrigerant oil is a unique oil that Mitsubishi Electric developed originally. Thanks to this new oil, the danger of chemical reaction with chlorine compound in existing pipe decrease. These benefits make it possible to reuse existing piping even when installing a new R410A model. Cleaning-Free, Pipe-Reuse Technology
 20. 21. Other Air Con Brands Mitsubishi Electric 1. Pump down 2. Pipe condition 3. Insulation condition Special Features OK OK New Piping Existing Piping
 21. 22. Low Pressure +HAB ( hard alkyl benzene ) refrigerant oil = Cleaning-Free, Pipe-Reuse Technology
 22. 23. HEAT RECOVERY TECHNOLOGY IN COMPRESSOR WATER TANK CONDENSER COLD WATER HOT WATER
 23. 24. Video
 24. 25. MISSION STATEMENT OF MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC

We exist to enhance quality of life of our customers and contribute to the well being of our employees, society and environment.

 25. 28. Mitsubishi Electric Air-Conditioner Market Share
