  • 2. Rockingham County 4-H Youth Development: 2009 by the Numbers
  • 3. Over 1000 youth participated in Rockingham County 4-H programming in 2009
  • 4. Over 200 adults volunteered with 4-H in Rockingham County in 2009
  • 5. Of the projects pursued in 2009 by enrolled Rockingham County 4-H’ers: 27% were in the Animal and plant Sciences 13% were in Leadership & and Personal Development 13% were in Communication and expressive Arts 12% were in Healthy Lifestyles Education
  • 6. Of the projects pursued in 2009 by enrolled Rockingham County 4-H’ers: 10% were in Environmental Education and Earth Sciences 10% were in Science and Technology 9% were in Citizenship and Community Service 6% were in Consumer and Family Sciences
  • 7. Of the 430 youth who enrolled as members in Rockingham County 4-H 2009: 31% were boys and 69% were girls
  • 8. Of the 430 youth who enrolled as members in Rockingham County 4-H 2009: 89% participated in clubs 7% participated in family programs 4% participated in after-school programs
  • 9. At the 2009 Deerfield Fair: 24 clubs set up displays 150+ volunteer roles were filled 125+ 4-H youth from around the state exhibited animals
