5. HOW DID THE TOUR START?
• Mike is the founder and owner of MiniMovers. When the Global
Financial Crisis (GFC) hit Australia, the effect on MiniMovers was
devastating.
• Mike then started to re-think and and re-develop his strategies and
later discovered the Philippines’ BPO industry as the solution to save
his business from collapsing.
• He mastered the art of doing offshore business and wanted to educate
other entrepreneurs and see its advantages.
• When Mike returned to Australia, he invited a few business friends to
see the business opportunities in Manila. The participants of that first
mini-tour led by Mike gave way to the birth of Mike's Manila Tours.
6. TOUR AGENDA
• Normally, there are about 6-8 participants on a
single tour. It is an intensive business learning day,
which starts from 8am to 10pm.
• The tour includes roundtable discussions and
lectures, plus visiting 20-30 BPO companies in
Manila, Clark, and in Angeles.
• A private van is provided to accommodate your
transportation needs.
• To fully understand the scenario in the Philippines,
you will also get a chance to experience their native
mode of transportation, such as trikes and
jeepneys.
