Current Hive Staff…Maggie Marconi - Museum Administratorfor the Follett House Museum, a branch of the SanduskyLibrary, located in Sandusky, Ohio.As the sole museum professional, Maggie does it all--programming, exhibit design, research, registrarialduties, grant writing, and maintenance. Maggie is agraduate of Earlham College, and holds a Master of Artsfrom the Cooperstown Graduate Program in HistoryMuseum Studies. She attended the Seminar forHistorical Administration in 2006. Maggie is the FirstVice President of Ohio Local History Alliance, and co-chair of the Alliance’s 21st Century CommunicationsCommittee. She serves on the Virtual Home for Historyand the Small Museums Committees for AASLH.
Current Hive Staff…Scott Wands - Heritage Resource Center &Field Services Director, Connecticut Humanities CouncilScott manages the CHCs non-grant-funded services toConnecticuts cultural heritage community. The HeritageResource Center (HRC) organizes and distributes currentthinking and best practices in the museum field andincludes both a lending library and comprehensive Website. Scott also oversees the CHC’s field servicesofferings, including leadership forums, seminars, andworkshops for museum professionals.Prior to joining the staff of the CHC in March of 2008,Scott worked for five years for Connecticut Landmarks asAssistant Curator of Education. A graduate of theWinterthur Program in Early American Culture at theUniversity of Delaware (MA) and Amherst College (BA),Scott serves as Region 2 Chair for Awards andMembership for AASLH (RI, CT, NY, NJ) and is a formerboard member of the CT League of HistoryOrganizations.
Current Hive Staff…Mike Frohlich – Multimedia/WebManager for the State Historical Society ofNorth Dakota located in Bismarck, ND.Mike manages the SHSND website, socialmedia, does audio & video production, and“other duties assigned”.More importantly… he makes beer! Mike isthe co-owner/brewer of Laughing Sun BrewingCo. opening this month (according to plan).
