Four Seasons <ul><ul><li>Used to teach children the names and order of the seasons. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>  Children split up into four groups representing the seasons. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Leader stands and yells a season. ex: &quot;I am Spring. I am Coming.&quot; </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Then the children representing the next season then stand up and yell. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>This continues until the leader feels that the children know the order of the seasons. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>At that time they either make the children sit with other children or sit with their eyes closed and play the game again. </li></ul></ul>

Forcing The City Gates <ul><ul><li>Requires a group of six or more people.  </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>There are two captains that pick their team mates. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The two teams stand opposite each other holding hands. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>One player from each team tries hurling themselves through the other teams line. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>If he makes it the two players on either side of him go back with him </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>If he doesn't make it, he stays there and becomes a part of that team. </li></ul></ul>

Blind Man's Bluff <ul><ul><li>Requires just a blindfold and large amount of space. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Choose one player to be &quot;it&quot; and blindfold them. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Spin them a few times to disorient them. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>All the other player's spread around the room. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Once the &quot;it&quot; person tags another player that player is &quot;it&quot; </li></ul></ul>

Hopping chicken <ul><ul><li>The object of this game is to see who is the most balanced and who is the strongest </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>there are sticks stuck in a ladder formation on the ground </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>the player must be on one foot and hop over all of the sticks without touching them </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>if the player makes it to the end they must pick up one stick on the end but stay on one foot </li></ul></ul>

Catch The Dragon's Tail <ul><ul><li>Players form a line and put their hands on the shoulders of the player ahead of them. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The one in front is the dragon's head, the one in the back is the dragon's tail. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The player in front must Maneuver the line so the he/she can tag the last player in line. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Once he/she is tagged they become the head and everyone else moves back one spot in line. </li></ul></ul>

Honor <ul><ul><li>Boys pair up and lock the first fingers on their right hands. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>THen the boys pull them apart. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>As soon as their fingers break apart, BUT NOT BEFORE, the boys yell &quot;honor&quot;. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The one who says it last sits down and the winner looks for a new partner. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>This continues until there is an overall winner   </li></ul></ul>

Knocking The Stick <ul><ul><li>Draw two lines in the dirt about 8 feet apart. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>place a stick on the ground in the middle between the two lines. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Each player selects their own stick and take turns trying to knock the middle stick over the opposite line. </li></ul></ul>

Hawk Catching Young Chicks <ul><ul><li>One player is selected to be the hawk and one is the hen. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The other players line up behind the hen holding on the the shirt of the player in front of them. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>  The hawk must try and catch the kids lined up behind the hen.  </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Once they are caught they form a line behind the hawk. </li></ul></ul>

Cat Catching Mice  <ul><li>this game is based on the classic cartoon named tom and jerry where the cat runs after the mouse. </li></ul><ul><li>There are kids standing in a circle and there is a mouse in the circle and a cat outside the circle there is usic playing and when it stops the cat runs after the mouse. </li></ul>
