  2. 2. The water cycle • It is the movement of water around, over and through the Earth. • It consists of the following processes: – – – – – – EVAPORATION EVAPOTRANSPIRATION CONDENSATION PRECIPITATION SURFACE RUN-OFF INFILTRATION
  3. 3. • Identify the process of the water cycle: 1-Water evaporates into the atmosphere from the leaves and stems of plants.
  4. 4. 2- Liquid water changes to a gas 3- Surface water moves across the land and forms rivers and streams. 4- Surface water filters into the ground
  5. 5. 5- Water in the clouds falls to the ground as rain, snow or hail 6- Water vapour changes to liquid, forming clouds.
