2. Words from the MCP
Dear candidate,
Congratulations for opening the application package for MC of Norway.
It is with a strong feeling of pride, excitement and honor that I am writing this, on behalf of AIESEC
Norway and on behalf of MC Stafett.
We are releasing the applications for the Member Committee of AIESEC Norway 13.14!
After 3 years in AIESEC Norway, I have developed immense passion and care for this organization.
AIESEC Norway is an organization consisting out of few, but very committed, hard-working and
passionate people. Having my second year of MC in AIESEC Norway, I am getting more and more sure
that being in the Member Committee is one of the most exciting, challenging, difficult and rewarding
experience you can gain in AIESEC.
The MC is a place where you have 1 year of a very intense team experience, getting very close to the
team both personally and professionally. You learn invaluable things about yourself, others and about
organizational strategy and performance. Even more importantly than learning things which you can
capitalize on in your future career, the MC experience is a place where you learn things for the rest of
your life.
Being in the MC is about vision, passion and belief in what this organization can be, and what kind of
responsible leadership we can develop for a better future. Being in the MC is to always stay true to what
you believe in and being able to face challenges with a smile, because you know that they will make you,
and the people around you better persons and better leaders.
I cannot promise you that Member Committee in AIESEC Norway will be easy, but I can promise you that
it will be worth it!
For any questions regarding your application, feel free to contact MC Stafett or our EBs,
All the best of luck!
Yours sincerely,
Elisabeth Weckner, MCP AIESEC Norway 12.13

EVS grant (for candidates applying inside the EU)
For the previous 4 years, our international VPs from the European Union has been supported financially
through the EVS grant. The process is that after selection, MC Norway can apply for EVS grant support
which would support the full salary of any international VPs that would get it granted. The application
deadline for the EVS grant is 1st of February meaning that we would need to have done the selection of
7. the international VPs in the first round of applications in order to be able to apply for you. By the
deadline, the candidate has to be ready with a sending organization from their country that is accredited
by EVS. This means that the MC Norway is strongly encouraging international VPs from the European
Union to apply in the first round of applications so that we can apply for EVS grant and have the chance
to get your salary fully covered. There is no guarantee that positions will be opened for second round of
applications, so in general this should be considered as the only time when it will be possible to apply.
