  • So… who does what? • Who do you need to speak to? • Public Health – health improvement • Now sits in local council – At district level in two tier areas • All district / unitary areas have a Director of Public Health – Different structures in each area – Different remits in each area • Health & Wellbeing Boards • Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategies
  • West Midlands Learning for Public Health • Public health training across the West Midlands • Wide network across councils, public health, higher education etc… • Good knowledge of who is doing what in different areas • & what different areas are doing • Links to the UK Healthy Cities Network – Stoke & Sandwell • Runs (free) multi agency learning events • 27th November 2013 – West & East Midlands network event
