I can imagine no more
rewarding a career. And
any man who may be
asked in this century what
he did to make his life
worthwhile, I think can
respond with a good deal
of pride and satisfaction:

The U.S.S. Joseph E. Connelly
USS Joseph E. Connolly (DE-450) was a John C. Butler-class destroyer escort
acquired by the U.S. Navy during World War II. The primary purpose of the
destroyer escort was to escort and protect ships in convoy, in addition to other
tasks as assigned, such as patrol or radar picket.

USS Dionne (DE-261) was an Evarts-class destroyer escort of the United
States Navy during World War II. She was sent off into the Pacific Ocean to

battle areas and returned home with six battle stars, a high number for a
ship of her type.

A father is neither an
anchor to hold us back,
nor a sail to take us there,
but a guiding light whose
love shows us the way.
The love of a family is one of life’s greatest blessings.
I think togetherness is a very important
ingredient to family life.
A love like ours will endure beyond the years,
beyond the tears, and well after we leave this earth.
Thank you all…
We can't thank you all enough for your thoughts. It
is comforting to have so many friends praying for
our family during this difficult time. It is with deep
appreciation that we say thank you for the many
expressions of love, kindness and support shown to
us. Thank you for all you’ve done.
