What you will learn…

An e-book or electronic book is a book published in an electronic format instead of being published on paper
E-books contain the same information as if the book was printed. This is considered a book source, not a web source.
You read an e-book digitally on your computer
WHAT IS AN E-BOOK?

When Searching the ICC online catalog, you will get search results for print books and e-books.
Print books have this symbol and a physical location like the stacks
E-books have this symbol and the location of electronic book

To access the e-book, click on the title of the book to open the record
Then, click on the link in the “online access” area

Accessing E-books from Home
If you are accessing e-books from off-campus, you will be asked to login. This is your ICC login and password. Please contact the library if you have any difficulties logging in.

If it is a NetLibrary book, you will see this page
Click on
“View this eBook”

Now you are in the e-book and you can start reading and browsing

Some reading tips for NetLibrary e-books
Use this button to print a single page
Use this section to navigate pages
Use the Table of Contents links to navigate to certain chapters
Search for keywords in the book with this search box

If you are accessing an ebrary e-book, clicking on the link in the library catalog will directly produce the e-book
