  3. 3. An e-book or electronic book is a book published in an electronic format instead of being published on paper<br />E-books contain the same information as if the book was printed. This is considered a book source, not a web source.<br />You read an e-book digitally on your computer <br />WHAT IS AN E-BOOK?<br />
  4. 4. When Searching the ICC online catalog, you will get search results for print books and e-books.<br />Print books have this symbol and a physical location like the stacks<br />E-books have this symbol and the location of electronic book<br />
  5. 5. To access the e-book, click on the title of the book to open the record<br />Then, click on the link in the “online access” area <br />
  6. 6. Accessing E-books from Home<br />If you are accessing e-books from off-campus, you will be asked to login. This is your ICC login and password. Please contact the library if you have any difficulties logging in.<br />
