For anyone interested inopera/ teatre or great architecture, this was fascinating. The House is magnificent and apartfrom the auditorium, the tour took you to places you would not otherwise have access to. Thisincluded the royal box and private lnterval lounge, backstage, under the stage, dressing rooms, orchestra pit, scenery storage areas etc. Most people will not realise that the large magnificentauditorium is actually not as a big aas the stage/ backstage areas! Much of the tour is visual inimpact, which is important for non German speakers as the tour guide was excellent in relatingbackground information but in German only (not a problem for me as I speak German).
