Envelope - for Concept 2: Sustainable Wilton Danqing LI XXL Design Workshop- Energy Generation The world games sta- dium is the largest so- lar-powered stadium in the world with it’s 14,155m2 roof. It could potentially generate 1.14 gigawatt hours of electricity every year, enough to power up to 80% of the sorround- ing neighbourhood. World Games Stadium, Kaohsiung, Taiwan- Sustainable Materials Bao’an Stadium, Shenzhen, China- Low-tech Approach Make use of the wind pressure, to organize the natural ventilation, and thus to reduce en- ergy consumption.
