  • Toni Demuro - Illustrator - Accademia delle belle arti Sassari.
Out on the island of Sardinia in the Mediterranean resides artist Toni Demuro. She is an illustrator whose minimalist style and color come out wonderfully in her art.
  • Elizabeth Adela Stanhope Forbes
Elizabeth Adela Forbes (1859–1912) was a Canadian artist and painter.  After moving to England, she studied in South Kensington Art School. After several moves across the Atlantic, in 1885, she returned to England and moved to Newlyn. She met her husband in Newlyn, Cornwall who was an artist in his own right.
Elizabeth was influenced by Whistler and Sickert. She primarily painted children and women.
  • Out on the island of Sardinia in the Mediterranean resides artist Toni Demuro. She is an illustrator whose minimalist style and color come out wonderfully in her art.
The only formal education that Toni Demuro has had is a painting and decorating course. He prefers a reclusive lifestyle, having never even gone to the barbers or even the dentist, but this unique approach to life has birthed his extremely original style of illustration. For him, more important than influences and inspirations is the fact that his drawings have the ability to transcend the idea and conception of the image and connect personally with the viewer. Toni believes that his work is more than just images on a page, but is a translation of his state of mind, the imprint that life makes on him, illustrated on the page for all to see.

Perhaps this is why his choice of lifestyle suits him; minimising his outside influences has certainly worked in favour of him cementing his idiosyncratic style. His images are at once warmly familiar and inviting, but at the same time unsettling and mysterious. Each series of images he produces has a theme running through them, whether it be trees or portraits of people with insects for faces, and yet each image seems to tell another side of an elusive tale that we yearn to get to grips with.
