  • Traditional icons of high quality are displayed, sold and commissioned at The Studio of Marice Sariola. Icons are religious paintings completed following ancient tradition. They are painted on solid wood using light persistent mineral pigments, egg yolk and gold leaf. Finnish born Marice Sariola lived in Sweden ten years before her migration to WA in 1989. She has built international acclaim and sold works to all continents (except Antarctica). Her works are also represented in many churches and other public places and private homes also here in WA. They can be seen at Church of Infant Jesus Morley, St John of God Hospital Murdoch, St Simon Peter Church Ocean Reef and the University of Notre Dame Fremantle. Icons by Marice is open everyday but to be sure Marice is there please make an appointment.
