Angles In The Kitchen Angles In The Kitchen Presentation Transcript

    • Angles in the Kitchen By: Christopher Yount
    • Acute angle
      • The blades of the fan make 5 acute angles. Acute angles are less then 90 degrees.
    • Obtuse angle
      • the upholders of the stove create obtuse angles. Obtuse angles are more then 90 degrees
    • Right angle
      • The corner of my refrigerator creates a right angle. A right angle is 90 degrees exactly.
    • Supplementary angle
      • the ridge in the wood creates another line segment making it supplementary
    • Complementary angle
      • This is a complementary angle because it is two angles adding up to 180 degrees.
    • Bisecting angle
      • This is a bisecting angle because it has 2 angles that are exactly 90 degrees creating one big 180 degree angle
    • Vertical angle
      • The vertical angle is the upper right cabinet and the lower left cabinet. A vertical angle is the same amount of degrees and on the opposite side of each other.
    • Straight angle
      • This is a straight angle because it is 180 degrees.
    • Linear pair
      • this is a linear pair but it is also a bisecting angle and complementary angle.
