316/316L stainless steel strip stainless steel is Mo-contained material, the overall mechanical performance is better than 301 and 304. In the high temperature environment with sulfuric acid(C%<15%>85%), 316/316L stainless steel strip have a good performance. Meanwhile, 316/316L stainless steel stripL also has good resistance to chloride corrosion performance, it is usually used in the marine environment. 316/316L stainless steel strip is immune from sensitisation (grain boundary carbide precipitation). Thus it is extensively used in heavy gauge welded components (over about 6mm).
