Jesus said, “If you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 5:14
Remember: Forgiveness brings a sense of joy and relief to your life.
In your life, you will experience both the need to give and experience forgivness.
Embrace those times. They define your Christian growth and peace more than most.
Begin by making the asking for and giving of forgiveness in the hundred daily offenses given and received.
Practice it daily till it becomes an attitude more than an action.
Forgiveness places you in the path of healing and restoration for your own life.
Your life will be gentler and kinder once you give up the need to avenge your conflicts and broken relationships.
Remember: We are chained to that which we do not forgive. Richard Paul Evans
Action: Before you go to sleep tonight, forgive someone who has offended you and ask God for forgiveness is delaying that ...
Wisdom: Apologize quickly and specifically when you commit an offense. It is more readily accepted and forgiven then.
When you want to forgive but can’t seem to do it, give God time to get your heart lined up with your decision.
Take a minute to let God speak to you about forgiveness. When asked by your facilitator, share what you have learned.
