Introduction:<br />Determination: To set one’s mind on a given task with full intentions of complete and final victory, a mind set, made up, of a strong will.<br />Nothing worthwhile is ever accomplished without determination. Most everybody has determination, but, there are two kinds of determination: The wrong kind and the right kind.<br />

The Wrong Determination<br />TO CONTINUE IN SIN… Rom. 6:1-2, 23 Jas. 1:15; Isa.59:1-2<br />Some ways man is determined to continue in sin:<br />Determined to engage in the works of the flesh. <br />Gal. 5:19-21; 1 Cor. 6:9-10<br />Determined to cling to human creeds and remain in human institutions of religion. Col. 2:21-22: Mt. 15:9, 13; Ps. 127:1; Eph. 4:4; Eph. 2:16<br />
  4. 4. The Wrong Determination<br />Some ways man is determined to continue in sin:<br />Determined never to obey the gospel of Christ and let God add them to the church. Romans 10:16; 2 Thes. 1:6-9; Jn. 3:36; 2 Cor. 10:5; Acts 2:47; 1 Cor. 12:13, 18<br />Determined never to confess faults as a child of God. 1 John 1:8-10; 5:16<br />Determined to hold to the doctrine of Balaam.Num. 22; Rev. 2:14; 2 Pet. 2:15<br />

The Right Determination<br />Ezra 7:10 “For Ezra had prepared his heart to SEEK THE LAW OF THE LORD, and TO DO IT, and TO TEACH in Israel statutes and judgments.” <br />The RIGHT DETERMINATION is to know God’s will! Jn. 8:32; 1 Tim. 2:3-4<br />To know God’s will one must climb some mountains & top them.<br />The Mt. of indifference, unconcern. Eph. 3:4; 1 Tim. 4:13-16<br />The Mt. of pre-conceived ideas. Prov. 21:2; 14:12; Acts 26:9<br />The Mt. of Unbelief. Hebrews 11:1, 6; Acts 27:25<br />

Mt. 28:18-20<br />To accomplish this you must overcome these mountains<br />The Mountain of it will do no good. Isa. 55:10; Heb. 4:12; Rom. 1:16<br />The Mountain of let others do it. Romans 14:11-12<br />

Conclusion:<br />When one has the RIGHT DETERMINATION…<br />To KNOW God’s will<br /> To DO God’s will<br /> To TEACH God’s will<br />Then, he’s determined to be saved now and be saved eternally! 2 Tim. 4:6-8; Phil. 1:23<br />Come to Jesus today by! Hearing and believing the gospel (Rom. 10:17), Repenting of sin (Lk. 13:3), Confessing Jesus as God’s son (Ac. 8:37), and Be baptized into Jesus (Rom. 6:3-6) washing away your sins (Acts 22:16).<br />
