Hannah’s Faith She longed to be fruitful. Gen. 9:7; 28:3 She wanted a son. Was this a selfish desire? Hannah’s unfulfilled desire caused her to fast and weep, she still looked to the Lord! She prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish. vv.10-19 She made a promise to God. She poured out her soul to the Lord !

She longed to be fruitful. Gen. 9:7; 28:3
