    3. Meeting Coordination Challenge
        • Scheduling meetings is painful and time consuming
        • Too many emails/phone calls to coordinate one meeting. Sometimes takes more time coordinating the meeting than having it.
        • People have a hard time coordinating meetings with people outside their office.
        • People are dispersed around the globe – and are in different time zones.
        • Most meetings are coordinated between 2 individuals.
60% of People’s meetings are with individuals outside their companies
    4. e-Calendars are isolated and inflexible
        • e-Calendars are confined to work behind the corporate walls
        • e-Calendars do not work across calendaring systems and platforms
        • ( Outlook, Google Calendar, Mac, Lotus)
        • The most powerful coordination feature does not work across companies or applications – i.e. viewing availabilities before sending the invitation
        • Users cannot leverage/link their schedules from their favorite social network or productivity tool.
Existing e-calendars only track your meetings but do little to be more productive and connected
    5. 2009-2010 Trends Teams are more dispersed, across different geographic regions, time zones - 19.1M Americans, 65% growth in 2 yrs, ( Dieringer Research Group, 2008) Companies will be outsourcing more than ever as they reduce their internal resources – for punctual, distinct efforts. (Gartner, 2008) Companies delaying IT spending until the economy recovers. It spending shows slower growth than expected (Gartner, 2009) (86%) of companies said they were raising sales quotas despite the financial slowdown – considering that only 58% made their quota in 2008 (Insight, 2009) Spending on IT cloud services almost triples from 2008 to 2012 (IDC, 2008) High growth for smartphones web traffic (AdMob, 2008) Effectively scheduling meetings and managing your time is more important than ever before
