  2. 2. History<br /><ul><li>Established in 1993 by Curt Robb & Keith Dot
  3. 3. Started out with a glass rack on Curt's Dodge pick-up
  4. 4. Used tools acquired from over 34 years of glass gazing
  5. 5. In 1996 they were able to purchase their first service van and hired the now Vice President, project manager Ron VanHorn
  6. 6. In 1999 Robb and Dot were able to move to a larger office abling them to take part in larger projects</li></li></ul><li>Current Status<br />Currently running 10-12 glass trucks a day<br />Employees a full-time service crew<br />Currently has 35 glazers<br />The largest glazing firm in the Lansing Area<br />Provides glass and architecture services<br />

  8. 8. Challenges<br />Creating an audience that is outside of the greater Lansing Area<br />Lack of Web or social media <br />Lack of providing information to the consumer on your webpage<br />

Twitter<br />By creating an account on Twitter you are closer to your potential clients<br />This will allow you to inform clients what jobs you are working on and what type of services you have <br />It will give you the opportunity to reach someone that would not have been a client before <br />
  10. 10. Facebook<br />Allow your company to provide a more in depth description of what your company does<br />It will allow people to recommend your company<br />Another place of reference for potential clients to search for a service<br />
  11. 11. Updated Webpage<br />The current status of the webpage does not give much information on who or what the company has to offer<br />Plan: update to a modern look, add connections to Twitter and Facebook, add more information about the company, create a logo that is more modern<br />
  12. 12. Evaluation of Our Process<br />Tracking the amount of fans or followers on Twitter and Facebook<br />See how many visits we have to the new webpage<br />Track the amount of business the company has after the launch<br />
  13. 13. Conclusion<br />By creating the social media and a modern website, it will allow Lansing Glass Company to stay with the changing marketing of businesses. The way society looks for advice or services is through social media and Lansing Glass Co. needs be in the now and with their competitors<br />
