  • 4. ‫ﻮﺍ ﻓﻠﹶﺎ‬‫ﺘ ﹶﺎﻣ‬‫ﺎ ﺍﻟﻠﱠﻪ ﹸﻢ ﺍﺳ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ ﻗﹶﺎﻟﹸﻮﺍ ﺭ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺇﹺﻥﱠ ﺍﱠ‬ ‫ ﻘ ﹶ‬ ‫ ﺛ‬ ‫ﺑ‬ ‫ﻟﺬ‬ ‫ﺌﻚ‬‫ﻟﹶ‬‫ﻮﻥﹶ )31:64( ﺃﹸﻭ‬‫ﺰ‬‫ﻳﺤ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻟﹶﺎ‬‫ﻬﹺﻢ ﻭ‬‫ ﻋﻠﹶﻴ‬ ‫ﻮ‬‫ﺧ‬ ‫ﻧ‬ ‫ ﻫ‬  ‫ﻑ‬ ‫ﻮﺍ‬‫ﺎ ﻛﹶﺎ‬ ‫ﺍﺀ ﺑﹺ‬‫ﺰ‬‫ﺎ ﺟ‬‫ﻴﻬ‬ ‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺎﻟ‬‫ ﺧ‬‫ﺔ‬‫ ﺍﹾﻟﺠ‬ ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺃﹶﺻ‬ ‫ﻤ ﻧ‬ ‫ﺤ ﺏ ﻨ ﺪ ﻓ‬ (46:14) ‫ﻤﹸﻮ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﻠ ﻥ‬ ‫ﻌ‬ Verily, those who say: "Our Lord is (only) Allâh," and thereafter standfirm and straight on the Islâmic Faithof Monotheism, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.Such shall be the dwellers of Paradise, abiding therein (forever) - a reward for what they used to do. [46:13-14]
  • 5. ‫ﻰ‬ ‫ ﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ ﻗ‬ ‫ﺎﻧ‬‫ﺒﺤ‬ ‫ﻟﹶﺪ‬‫ﻦ ﻭ‬ ‫ﺬﹶ‬‫ﺘﺨ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻥ ﻳ‬‫ﻟﱠﻪ‬ ‫ﺎ ﻛﹶﺎﻥﹶ‬‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺳ ﻪ ﹶﻀ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻠ‬ (19:35) ‫ ﹸﻮ ﹸ‬‫ ﹸﻦ ﻓ‬ ‫ﺎ ﻳ ﹸﻮ ﹸ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺍ ﹶﹺ‬  ‫ﺃ‬ ‫ﻘ ﻝ ﻟﻪ ﻛ ﹶﻴﻜ ﻥ‬ ‫ﹶﻣﺮ ﻓﺈﻧﻤ‬It befits not (the Majesty of) Allâh that He should beget a son [thisrefers to the slander of Christians against Allâh, by saying that ‘Îsâ (Jesus) is the son of Allâh]. Glorified (and Exalted) be He(above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing,He only says to it: "Be!" - and it is. [19:35]
  • 6. ‫ﺎ ﹺﺑﻪ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺎﺀ ﻓﺄﹶﺧ‬‫ﺎﺀ ﻣ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ ﺃﹶﻧﺰﻝﹶ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻥ ﺍﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ ﺗ‬‫ﺃﹶﻟﹶﻢ‬  ‫ﹶ‬ ‫ ﺴ‬  ‫ﱠ‬  ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ ﺑﹺﻴﺾ ﻭ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﺎﻝﹺ‬‫ ﺍﹾﻟﺠﹺ‬‫ﺎ ﻭﻣﻦ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﺍﻧ‬‫ﻠﻔﹰﺎ ﺃﹶﻟﹾﻮ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ ﻣﺨ‬‫ﺍﺕ‬ ‫ﺛﹶﻤ‬ ‫ ﺣﺮ‬ ‫ﺒ ﺟﺩ‬    ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺎﺱ‬‫ ﺍﻟ‬‫ )72:53( ﻭﻣﻦ‬ ‫ﻮ‬ ‫ﺍﺑﹺﻴﺐ‬‫ﺎ ﻭﻏﹶﺮ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﺍﻧ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻟﹾﻮ‬ ‫ﺘﻠ‬‫ﻣﺨ‬ ‫ ﻨ ﹺ‬ ‫ﺳ ﺩ‬  ‫ ﻒ‬ See you not that Allâh sends down water (rain) from the sky, and We produce ‫ﻰ‬ ‫ﻳﺨ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﺇﹺ‬‫ﻟﻚ‬‫ ﻛﹶﺬﹶ‬ ‫ﺍ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻟﹾﻮ‬ ‫ﺘﻠ‬‫ﺎﻡﹺ ﻣﺨ‬ ‫ﻧ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾﺄﹶ‬‫ ﻭ‬ ‫ﺍ‬  ‫ﺍﻟ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﺸ‬ ‫ﻧ‬ ‫ ﻒ ﻧﻪ‬ ‫ﺪ ﻭ ﺏ ﻌ‬ therewith fruits of various colors, and (35:28)  ‫ ﻏ ﹸﻮ‬ ‫ ﹺﻳ‬  ‫ﺎﺀ ﹺﻥ ﺍﻟﱠ‬ ‫ ﺍﻟﻌﹶ‬  ‫ﺎ‬  ‫ ﻣ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﱠ‬ ‫ﻠﻤ ﺇ ﱠ ﻠﻪ ﻋﺰ ﺰ ﹶﻔ ﺭ‬ ‫ﻦ ﻋﺒ ﺩﻩ ﹾ‬ ‫ﻠﻪ‬among the mountains are streaks white and red, of varying colors and (others) very black. And likewise of men and Ad Dawâbb [moving (living) creatures,beasts], and cattle, are of various colors. It isonly those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is All-Mighty, Oft-Forgiving. [35:27-28]
  • 7. ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺮﹺﻧ‬‫ ﹶﺃﻣ‬‫ﺎ ﻣﻦ‬‫ﻭﺣ‬ ‫ﻴﻚ‬‫ﺎ ﺇﹺﻟﹶ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺣ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻭ‬‫ﻟﻚ‬‫ﻭﻛﹶﺬﹶ‬ ‫ﻣ‬  ‫ﺭ‬  ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻟﹶ‬‫ﺎﻥﹸ ﻭ‬ ‫ ﻭﻟﹶﺎ ﺍﻟﹾﺈﹺ‬‫ﺎﺏ‬‫ﺎ ﺍﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﺭﹺﻱ ﻣ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ ﺗ‬‫ﹸﻨﺖ‬ ‫ ﳝ ﻜ‬ ‫ﺘ‬ ‫ﻛ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺎﺩ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﺎﺀ ﻣﻦ‬‫ﻧﺸ‬ ‫ ﻣﻦ‬‫ﻱ ﹺﺑﻪ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ﺍ‬ ‫ﻮ‬‫ ﻧ‬‫ﺎﻩ‬‫ﺟﻌﻠﹾﻨ‬ ‫ﻧ‬   ‫ﺭﻧﺪ‬  (42:52) ‫ﻴ ﹴ‬ ‫ﺘ‬ ‫ﺍﻁ ﻣ‬  ‫ﻱ ﹺﹶﻰ‬  ‫ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻭﹺﻧ‬ ‫ﻘ ﻢ‬‫ﺴ‬  ‫ﻚ ﻟﺘﻬﺪ ﺇﻟ ﺻﺮ‬‫ﺇ‬ And thus We have sent to you (O Muhammadpbuh) (a Revelation, and a Mercy) of Our Command. You knew not what is the Book, nor what is Faith? But We have made it (this Qur’ân) a light wherewith We guidewhosoever of Our slaves We will. And verily, you (O Muhammad pbuh) are indeed guiding(mankind) to the Straight Path. [42:52]
  • 8. ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺑﻨ‬ ‫ﻒ‬‫ ﻛﹶﻴ‬‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺎﺀ ﻓﹶﻮﻗﹶ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﻭﺍ ﺇﹺﹶﻰ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﻨ ﹸﺮ‬ ‫ﹶﺃﻓﻠﹶﻢ‬ ‫ﻫ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ﹶ ﻳﻈ ﻟ ﺴ‬ ‫ﺽ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾﺄﹶﺭ‬‫ﻭﺝﹴ )6:05( ﻭ‬ ‫ﻦ ﹸ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺎ ﹶﻟﻬ‬‫ﺎ ﻭﻣ‬‫ﺎﻫ‬‫ﺯ‬‫ﻭ‬  ‫ﻣ ﻓﺮ‬  ‫ﻳﻨ‬ Have they not looked at the heaven above ‫ﻦ‬‫ﺎ ﻣ‬‫ﻴﻬ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺘﻨ‬‫ ﻭﺃﹶﻧﺒ‬‫ﻲ‬‫ﺍﺳ‬ ‫ﺎ ﺭ‬ ‫ﻴ‬‫ﺎ ﻓ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﺎ ﻭﺃﹶﹾﻟﻘﹶﻴ‬‫ﺎﻫ‬‫ﻧ‬‫ﺩ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﻣ‬ ‫ ﻓ‬ ‫ﻬ ﻭ‬ them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? And the earth! ‫ﻜﻞ‬‫ﻯ ﻟ‬‫ﺫﻛﹾﺮ‬‫ﺓﹰ ﻭ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺒﺼ‬‫ ﹺﻴﺞﹴ )7:05( ﺗ‬‫ﻭﺝﹴ ﺑ‬‫ﻛ ﱢ ﺯ‬ ‫ﹸﱢ‬  ‫ ﻬ‬ ‫ﹸﻞ‬ We have spread it out, and set thereon (50:8) ‫ﹺﻴ ﹴ‬    ‫ﻋﺒﺪ ﻣﻨ ﺐ‬mountains standing firm, and have producedtherein every kind of lovely growth (plants). An insight and a Reminder for every slave who turns to Allâh in repentance (i.e. the one who believes in the Oneness of Allâh and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon). [50:6-8]
  • 9. ‫ﻨﻔﺲ‬‫ﺘﻠﹸﻮﻥﹶ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﻳﻘﹾ‬ ‫ﻟﹶﺎ‬‫ﺮ ﻭ‬‫ﺎ ﺁﺧ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻬ‬‫ﻊ ﺍﻟﱠﻪ‬‫ﻮﻥﹶ ﻣ‬ ‫ﺪ‬‫ ﻟﹶﺎ ﻳ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺍﱠ‬‫ﻭ‬  ‫ﹾ‬  ‫ ﻠ‬ ‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﻟﺬ‬ Sin Through Repentance ‫ﻟﻚ‬‫ﻳﻔﻌﻞﹾ ﺫﹶ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ﻮﻥﹶ ﻭﻣ‬‫ﺰ‬‫ﻟﹶﺎ ﻳ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ ﺇﹺﱠﺎ ﺑﹺﺎﹾﻟﺤﻖ‬ ‫ﺮﻡ ﺍﻟﻠﱠ‬‫ﻲ ﺣ‬‫ﺍﱠﺘ‬ ‫ ﹾ‬ ‫ﻧ‬  ‫ ﻪ ﻟ‬ ‫ﻟ‬ ‫ﻳﺨﹸﺪ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﺔ‬‫ﺎﻣ‬‫ ﺍﹾﻟﻘ‬‫ﻮﻡ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ ﹶﺍﺏ‬‫ ﹶﻟﻪ ﺍﹾﻟﻌ‬‫ﻒ‬‫ﺎﻋ‬‫ﻳﻀ‬ (25:68) ‫ﺎ‬‫ ﺃﹶﹶﺎﻣ‬‫ﻳﻠﻖ‬ ‫ﻠ‬ ‫ ﻴ‬ ‫ ﺬ‬ ‫ﹾ ﺛ‬ And those who invoke not any other ilâh (god) ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻟﺤ‬‫ﺎ‬‫ﻤﻠﹰﺎ ﺻ‬‫ﻤﻞﹶ ﻋ‬‫ ﻭﻋ‬‫ﺁﻣﻦ‬ ‫ﺎﺏ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ﺎ)96:52( ﺇﹺﱠﺎ ﻣ‬‫ﺎ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﻴﻪ‬‫ﻓ‬    ‫ﻟ ﺗ ﻭ‬ ‫ﻧ‬ along with Allâh, nor kill such person as Allâh hasforbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal ‫ﺍ‬ ‫ ﻏﻔﹸﻮ‬ ‫ ﻭﻛﹶﺎﻥ ﺍﻟﱠ‬‫ﺎﺕ‬‫ﻬﹺﻢ ﺣﺴ‬‫ﻴﺌﹶﺎﺗ‬‫ ﺳ‬‫ﺪﻝ ﺍﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﺒ‬ ‫ﺌﻚ‬‫ﻟﹶ‬‫ﻓﹶﺄﹸﻭ‬ ‫ ﹶ ﻠﻪ ﹶ ﺭ‬ ‫ ﻨ‬  ‫ﹸ‬ ‫ﻳ‬ sexual intercourse - and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. The torment will be ‫ ﺇﹺﹶﻰ‬ ‫ﻮ‬‫ﻪ ﻳ‬‫ﺎ ﻓﹶﺈﹺ‬‫ﻟﺤ‬‫ﺎ‬‫ﻤﻞﹶ ﺻ‬‫ ﻭﻋ‬‫ﺎﺏ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ﺎ )07:52( ﻭﻣ‬ ‫ﻴ‬‫ﺣ‬ ‫ ﺘ ﺏ ﻟ‬‫ﻧ‬   ‫ ﺗ‬ ‫ﺭ ﻤ‬doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he (25:71)‫ﺎ‬‫ﺎ‬  ‫ﺍﻟﱠ‬ ‫ﻠ ﻪ ﻣﺘ ﺑ‬ will abide therein in disgrace; Except those whorepent and believe (in Islâmic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds; for those, Allâh will change their sins into good deeds, and Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds; then verily, he repents towards Allâh with true repentance. [25:68-71]

God’s Oneness ‫ﺎ‬‫ ﻛﹶﺎﻧ‬‫ﺽ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾﺄﹶﺭ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﺍﺕ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﻭﺍ ﺃﹶﻥ ﺍﻟ‬‫ ﻛﻔﹶﺮ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ ﺍﱠ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻟﹶﻢ‬‫ﺃﹶﻭ‬ ‫ﺘ‬ ‫ﱠ ﺴ ﻭ‬ ‫ﻟﺬ ﹶ‬ ‫ ﹶﺃﻓﹶﺎ‬ ‫ﺀ ﺣ‬‫ﻲ‬‫ﺎﺀ ﻛﻞﱠ ﺷ‬‫ﺎ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﹾﻤ‬‫ﺟﻌﻠﹾﻨ‬‫ﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺘﻘﹾﻨ‬‫ﺗﻘﹰﺎ ﻓﻔﹶ‬‫ﺭ‬ ‫ٍ ﻲ ﹶﻠ‬ ‫ﹸ‬    ‫ﹶ ﻫ‬ Have not those who disbelieve known that ‫ ﺑﹺﻬﻢ‬‫ﻴﺪ‬‫ﺗﻤ‬ ‫ ﺃﹶﻥ‬‫ﺍﺳﻲ‬‫ﻭ‬‫ﺽﹺ ﺭ‬‫ﻲ ﺍﻟﹾﺄﹶﺭ‬‫ﺎ ﻓ‬‫ﺟﻌﻠﹾﻨ‬‫ﻮﻥﹶ )03:12( ﻭ‬‫ﺆﻣ‬‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﹺ‬   ‫ﻨ‬ the heavens and the earth were joinedtogether as one united piece, then We parted ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺟﻌﻠﹾﻨ‬‫ﻭﻥﹶ )13:12( ﻭ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺒﹰﺎ ﹶﻟﻌﻠﱠ‬ ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺎ ﻓﺠ‬‫ﻴﻬ‬‫ﺎ ﻓ‬‫ﺟﻌﻠﹾﻨ‬‫ﻭ‬  ‫ﻬ ﺪ‬ ‫ ﺟ ﺳﻠ‬ them? And We have made from water everyliving thing. Will they not then believe? And ‫ﻮﻥﹶ‬ ‫ﺮﹺ‬‫ﺎ ﻣﻌ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﺎﺗ‬‫ ﺁﻳ‬‫ ﻋﻦ‬‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺎﺀ ﺳﻘﻔﹰﺎ ﻣﺤﻔﹸﻮﻇﹰﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ ﺿ‬  ‫ﻫ‬   ‫ﹾ‬ ‫ﺴ‬ (21:32)We have placed on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with them, and We placed therein broad highways for them to pass through, that they may be guided. And We have made the heaven a roof, safe and well guarded. Yet they turn away from its signs (i.e. sun, moon, winds, clouds, etc.). [21:30-32]
  • 11. ‫ﺍﹾﻟﺠﻦ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ ﺍﻹِﻧﺲ‬‫ﻤﻌﺖ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﺌﻦﹺ ﺍﺟ‬‫ﹸﻞ ﱠ‬ ‫ﹺ‬  ‫ﻗ ﻟ‬ ‫ـﺬﹶﺍ‬‫ﹾﺜﻞﹺ ﻫ‬‫ﻮﹾﺍ ﺑﹺﻤ‬‫ﺄﹾﺗ‬‫ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺃﹶﻥ ﻳ‬  ‫ﻟﹶﻮ ﻛﹶﺎﻥ‬‫ﻪ ﻭ‬‫ﹾﺜﻠ‬‫ﻮﻥﹶ ﺑﹺﻤ‬‫ﺄﹾ‬‫ ﻻﹶ ﻳ‬‫ﺁﻥ‬‫ﺍﹾﻟ ﹸﺮ‬ ‫ ﹶ‬  ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﻘ‬ (17:88) ‫ﺍ‬ ‫ﺒﻌ ﹴ ﹶﻬ‬    ‫ﺑﻌ‬ ‫ﺾ ﻇ ﹺﲑ‬ ‫ﻀﻬﻢ ﻟ‬  Say: "If the mankind and the jinn were together to producethe like of this Qur’ân,they could not producethe like thereof, even if they helped one another." [17:88]
  • 12. ‫ﺮﹺ‬‫ﺮﹺ ﺍﻟﹾﺄﹶﺧﻀ‬‫ﺠ‬ ‫ﻱ ﺟﻌﻞﹶ ﻟﹶ ﹸﻢ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﺍﱠﺬ‬  ‫ ﺸ‬  ‫ ﻜ‬ ‫ﻟ‬ ‫ﻴﺲ‬‫ﻟﹶ‬‫ﻭﻥﹶ )08:63( ﺃﹶﻭ‬ ‫ﻮﻗ‬ ‫ﻪ‬‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﻢ‬‫ﺍ ﻓﹶﺈﹺﺫﹶﺍ ﺃﹶﻧ‬‫ﺎﺭ‬‫ﻧ‬ ‫ﺗ ﺪ‬‫ﺘ ﻣ‬ ‫ﺭ‬‫ ﹺﺑﻘﹶﺎﺩ‬‫ﺽ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾﺄﹶﺭ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﺍﺕ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﻱ ﺧﻠﻖ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﺍﱠﺬ‬ ‫ﹴ‬ ‫ ﺴ ﻭ‬ ‫ﹶ‬ ‫ﻟ‬ He Who produces for you fire ‫ﻮ‬‫ﺑﻠﹶﻰ ﻭﻫ‬ ‫ﻢ‬‫ﹾﺜﻠﹶﻬ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﻳﺨﹸﻠﻖ‬ ‫ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺃﹶﻥﹾ‬     out of the green tree, when behold you kindle therewith. Is (36:81)  ‫ﻴ‬‫ ﺍﻟﻌ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﺨﱠﺎ‬ ‫ﻠ ﻢ‬ ‫ﻠ ﻕ ﹾ‬ ‫ﹾ‬not He Who created the heavensand the earth, Able to create thelike of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator. [36:80-81]
  • 13. is the Judgment Day ‫ )1:28( ﻭﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ‬‫ﺕ‬‫ﺎﺀ ﺍﻧﻔﻄﹶﺮ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺇﹺ ﹶﺍ ﺍﻟ‬  ‫ﹶ‬ ‫ﺫ ﺴ‬ ‫ﺎﺭ‬‫ )2:28( ﻭﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ ﺍﻟﹾﹺﺒﺤ‬‫ﺜﹶﺮﺕ‬‫ ﺍﻧﺘ‬‫ﺍﻛﺐ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹾﻜﹶ‬     ‫ﻮ‬ (82:4)  ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ ﺑ‬ ‫ﻮ‬‫ﹺ ﹶﺍ ﺍﻟ ﹸ‬ (82:3)    ‫ﻓ‬ ‫ﺕ‬ ‫ﻌﺜ‬ ‫ﻭﺇﺫ ﹾﻘﺒ ﺭ‬ ‫ﹸﺠﺮﺕ‬When the heaven is cleft asunder. Andwhen the stars have fallen and scattered.And when the seas are burst forth. And (82:5) ‫ﺮﺕ‬ ‫ ﻭﺃﹶ‬‫ﻣﺖ‬ ‫ﺎ ﻗﹶ‬  ‫ﻧﻔ‬ ‫ﻤﺖ‬‫ﻋﻠ‬  ‫ ﺧ‬  ‫ ﹾﺲ ﻣ ﺪ‬ when the graves are turned upside down (and bring out their contents) (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). [82:1-5]
  • 14. ‫ﻥ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﻳﺪﻋ‬ ‫ﺎﺏﹺ‬‫ ﺍﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﺎ ﻣﻦ‬‫ﻴﺒ‬ ‫ﻧ‬ ‫ﻮﺍﹾ‬‫ ﺃﹸﻭ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻰ ﺍﱠ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ ﺗ‬‫ﺃﹶﻟﹶﻢ‬ ‫ ﹶ‬ ‫ ﺘ‬ ‫ﻟﺬ ﺗ ﺼ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻨ‬  ‫ﱠﻰ ﻓﹶ ﹺﻳ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﻳﺘ‬  ‫ ﹸ‬‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻨ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ ﺑ‬‫ ﹸﻢ‬‫ﻴﺤ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ﺎﺏ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬‫ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻰ ﻛ‬  ‫ﺘ ﹺ ﻠ ﻜ ﻬ ﺛﻢ ﻟ ﺮ ﻖ ﻣ ﻬ‬ Have you not seen those who have been ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻤ‬‫ ﻗﹶﺎﹸﻮﺍﹾ ﻟﹶﻦ ﺗ‬‫ﻢ‬ ‫ ﺑﹺﺄﹶ‬‫ﻟﻚ‬‫ﻮﻥﹶ )32:3( ﺫﹶ‬‫ﺮﹺﺿ‬‫ﻢ ﻣﻌ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﺴﻨ‬ ‫ﻧﻬ ﻟ‬  ‫ﻫ‬ given a portion of the Scripture? They arebeing invited to the Book of Allâh to settle ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻳﻨﹺﻬﹺﻢ‬‫ﻲ ﺩ‬‫ ﻓ‬‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺍﺕ ﻭﻏﹶﺮ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﺎ ﻣﻌ‬‫ﺎﻣ‬‫ ﹺﺇ ﱠ ﺃﹶ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻫ‬   ‫ ﺪ ﺩ‬ ‫ﻨ ﺭ ﻻ ﻳ‬ their dispute, then a party of them turn away, and they are averse. (3:24) ‫ﻭ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻮﹾ ﻳ ﹾ‬‫ﹶﺎ‬ ‫ﻔﺘﺮ ﻥ‬ ‫ﻛ ﻧ ﺍ‬This is because they say: "The Fire shall not touch us but for a number of days." And that which they used to invent regarding their religion has deceived them. [3:23-24]
  • 15. ‫ﻭﺍ‬  ‫ﺎﺭﻙ ﱢﻴ‬‫ﺒ‬ ‫ﻴﻚ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻟﹶ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻟﹾﻨ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻧﺰ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻛ‬ ‫ ﻟ ﺪﺑﺮ‬  ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺘﺏ ﻩ‬ (38:29) ‫ﺎﺏﹺ‬‫ﹸﻮﺍ ﺍﻟﹾﺄﹶﻟﹾ‬‫ ﺃﹸﻭ‬‫ﺬ ﱠﺮ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻟ‬‫ﻪ ﻭ‬‫ﺎﺗ‬‫ﺁﻳ‬ ‫ ﹶﻛ ﻟ ﺒ‬(This is) a Book (the Qur’ân) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings, that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember. [38:29]
  • 16. ‫ ﺃﹶﻥﹾ ﺃﹶﻧﺬﺭﹺ‬‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺟﻞﹴ ﻣﻨ‬‫ﺎ ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻰ ﺭ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﺣﻴ‬‫ﺎ ﺃﹶﻥ ﺃﹶﻭ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ﺎﺱﹺ ﻋﺠ‬‫ﻠ‬ ‫ﹶﺃﻛﹶﺎﻥﹶ‬  ‫ﻬ‬   ‫ﹾ‬  ‫ﻟﻨ‬ ‫ﻬﻢ‬‫ ﺭ‬‫ﻨﺪ‬‫ﺪﻕﹴ ﻋ‬‫ ﺻ‬‫ ﻗﹶﺪﻡ‬‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻮﺍﹾ ﹶﺃﻥﱠ ﻟﹶ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ ﺁﻣ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺮﹺ ﺍﱠ‬ ‫ﺑ‬‫ﺎﺱ ﻭ‬‫ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﺑﹺ‬   ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ ﺸ ﻟﺬ‬ ‫ﻨ‬Is it a wonder for mankind that We have sent ‫ ﹸﻢ‬‫ )2:01( ﺇﹺﻥﱠ ﺭ‬ ‫ﹺﺒ‬  ‫ﺎﺣ‬‫ـ ﹶﺍ ﹶﻟﺴ‬‫ﻭﻥﹶ ﺇﹺ ﱠ ﻫ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﺍﻟﹾﻜﹶﺎﻓ‬  ‫ﺑﻜ‬ ‫ﺮ ﻣﲔ‬ ‫ﻥ ﺬ‬ ‫ﻗ‬ Our Revelation to a man from among ‫ﺎﻡﹴ ﹸﻢ‬‫ ﺃﹶ‬‫ﺘﺔ‬‫ﻲ ﺳ‬‫ ﻓ‬‫ﺽ‬‫ﺍﻷَﺭ‬ ‫ﺍﺕ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﻱ ﺧﻠﻖ ﺍﻟ‬‫ ﺍﱠﺬ‬‫ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬ ‫ﻳ ﺛ‬ ‫ ﺴ ﻭ ﻭ‬ ‫ﹶ‬ ‫ﻠ ﻟ‬ themselves (i.e. Prophet Muhammad pbuh) (saying): "Warn mankind (of the coming ‫ﻦ‬‫ﻴﻊﹴ ﹺﺇ ﱠ ﻣ‬‫ﻦ ﺷﻔ‬‫ﺎ ﻣ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺮ ﺍﻷﻣ‬‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﺵﹺ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﻯ ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺍﹾﻟﻌ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﺍﺳ‬ ‫ ﻻ‬ َ ‫ﻳ ﺑ‬  torment in Hell), and give good news to (10:3) ‫ﻭ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺬ ﱠ‬ ‫ ﺃ ﹶ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻭ‬  ‫ ﹶﺎ‬ ‫ﻜ‬  ‫ ﹸﻢ ﺍﻟﹼ‬‫ ﹶ‬ ‫ ﹺ ﹾﹺ‬  ‫ﺑ‬ ‫ ﻠﻪ ﺭﺑ ﹸﻢ ﻓ ﻋﺒﺪ ﻩ ﹶﻓﻼ ﺗ ﹶﻛﺮ ﻥ‬ ‫ﻌﺪ ﺇﺫﻧﻪ ﺫﻟﻜ‬ those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh and in His Prophet Muhammad pbuh) that they shall have with their Lord the rewards of their good deeds?" (But) the disbelieverssay: "This is indeed an evident sorcerer (i.e. Prophet Muhammad pbuh and the Qur’ân)! Surely, your Lord is Allâh Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days and thenrose over the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty), disposing the affair of all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His Leave. That is Allâh, your Lord; so worship Him (Alone). Then, will you not remember? [10:2-3]
  • 17. ‫ﻠﻚ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻦ ﻳ‬ ‫ﺽﹺ ﹶﺃ‬‫ﺍﻷَﺭ‬ ‫ﺎﺀ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﺯﹸ ﹸﻢ ﻣﻦ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﻦ ﻳ‬‫ﻗﻞﹾ ﻣ‬  ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ ﺴ ﻭ‬ ‫ﻗﻜ‬ ‫ﹸ‬ ‫ﻴﺖ‬‫ ﺍﻟﹾﻤ‬‫ ﻣﻦ‬ ‫ ﺍﹾﻟﺤ‬‫ﺮﺝ‬‫ﻳﺨ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ ﻭﻣ‬‫ﺎﺭ‬‫ﺑﺼ‬َ‫ ﻭﺍﻷ‬‫ﻊ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﻲ‬ ‫ﹺ‬  ‫ﺴ‬Say (O Muhammad PBUH) "Who provides for you ‫ﻴﻘﹸﻮﻟﹸﻮﻥﹶ‬‫ ﻓﺴ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ ﺍﻷﻣ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ ﻭﻣ‬ ‫ ﺍﹾﻟﺤ‬‫ ﻣﻦ‬‫ﻴﺖ‬‫ ﺍﻟﹾﻤ‬‫ﺮﺝ‬‫ﻳﺨ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ ﻳ ﺑﺮ َ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻲ‬  ‫ﹺ‬ from the sky and the earth? Or who owns hearing and sight? And who brings out the living from the  ‫ ﺍﹾﻟﺤ‬ ‫ ﹸ‬‫ ﺭ‬‫ ﹸﻢ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬‫ﺘﻘﹸﻮﻥﹶ )13:01( ﻓﹶﺬﹶﻟ‬‫ ﻓﻘﻞﹾ ﹶﺃﻓﹶﻼﹶ ﺗ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹼ‬ ‫ﻖ‬ ‫ ﻠ ﺑﻜﻢ‬ ‫ﻜ‬ ‫ﻠﻪ ﹶ ﹸ‬ dead and brings out the dead from the living? And (10:32) ‫ﺮ ﹸﻮ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻰ ﺗ‬‫ﻼ ﹸ ﹶ ﹶ‬ ‫ ﺇ ﱠ ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ ﺍﻟﺤ‬  ‫ﺎ ﹶﺍ ﺑ‬ ‫ﹶ‬ ‫ﻓ ﻥ‬ ‫ﺼ‬ ‫ﻖ ﹺﻻ ﻀ ﹶﻝ ﻓﺄﻧ‬ ‫ﻌﺪ ﹾ‬ ‫ﻓﻤ ﺫ‬ who disposes the affairs?" They will Say: "Will you not then be afraid of Allâh’s punishment (for setting up rivals in worship with Allâh)?" Suchis Allâh, your Lord in truth. So after the truth, what else can there be, save error? How then are you turned away? [10:31-32]
  • 18. ‫ﹾﺍ ﺍﻟﺴﻠﹶﻢ‬ ‫ ﻓﹶﺄﹶﹾﻟﻘﹶ‬‫ﻲ ﹶﻧﻔﺴِﻬﹺﻢ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻜﺔﹸ ﹶﺎﻟ‬‫ﻼﺋ‬‫ ﺍﻟﹾﻤ‬‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻮﱠﺎ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ ﺗ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺍﱠ‬  ‫ﻮ‬ ‫ﹶ ﻇ ﺃﹸ‬ ‫ﻓ ﻫ‬ ‫ﻟﺬ‬ ‫ﻢ‬‫ﺎ ﹸﻨ‬‫ ﺑﹺﻤ‬ ‫ﻴ‬‫ ﻋﻠ‬‫ﺑﹶﻰ ﺇﹺﻥ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬ ٍ‫ﻮﺀ‬‫ﻦ ﺳ‬‫ﻤ ﹸ ﻣ‬‫ﻧﻌ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺎ ﹸﻨ‬‫ﻣ‬ ‫ ﻢ ﻛﺘ‬ ‫ﻠ ﱠ ﻠ‬ ‫ﻞ‬ ‫ﻛ‬ "Those whose lives the angels take while theyare doing wrong to themselves (by disbelief and ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻴ‬‫ ﻓ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺎﻟ‬‫ﻢ ﺧ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ ﺟ‬‫ﺍﺏ‬ ‫ﺧﻠﹸﻮﺍﹾ ﺃﹶﺑ‬‫ﻤﻠﹸﻮﻥﹶ )82:61( ﻓﹶﺎﺩ‬‫ﺗﻌ‬ ‫ ﺪ ﻬ‬‫ﻨ‬ ‫ ﻮ‬  by associating partners in worship with Allâh and by committing all kinds of crimes and evil ‫ﺎﺫﹶﺍ‬‫ﺍﹾ ﻣ‬‫ﺗﻘﹶﻮ‬‫ ﺍ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﻟﱠ‬ ‫ﻴﻞﹶ‬‫ )92:61( ﻭ‬‫ ﹺﻳﻦ‬‫ﻜﹶ‬‫ﺘ‬ ‫ﻯ ﺍﻟﹾ‬‫ﺜﹾﻮ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﻓﻠﹶﺒﹺﹾﺌﺲ‬ ‫ﻗ ﻠﺬ‬ ‫ﻤ ﺒﺮ‬ ‫ﹶ‬deeds)." Then, they will make (false) submission ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻧ‬ ‫ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﻩ‬‫ﺬ‬‫ﻲ ﻫ‬‫ﻮﺍﹾ ﻓ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ ﺃﹶﺣﺴ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺍ ﱢﻟﱠ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ ﻗﹶﺎﻟﹸﻮﹾﺍ ﺧ‬‫ ﹸﻢ‬‫ﺃﹶﻧﺰﻝﹶ ﺭ‬ ‫ﺪﻴ‬  ‫ﻠﺬ‬ ‫ ﺑﻜ‬ (saying): "We used not to do any evil." (The angels will reply): "Yes! Truly, Allâh is All- (16:30)  ‫ﺘﻘ‬ ‫ ﺍﹾ‬ ‫ﺍ‬   ‫ﹶﻨ‬ ‫ﻴﺮ‬   ‫ ﺍﻵﺧ‬ ‫ﺍ‬ ‫ﹶ‬ ‫ ﹲ‬ ‫ﺣ‬ ‫ﲔ‬ ‫ ﻭﻟﹺﻌﻢ ﺩ ﺭ ﻟﻤ‬ ‫ﺮﺓ ﺧ‬ ‫ﺴﻨﺔ ﻭﻟﺪ ﺭ‬ Knower of what you used to do. "So enter thegates of Hell, to abide therein, and indeed, what ‫ ﻟﹶﻬﻢ‬‫ﺎﺭ‬‫ﻧﻬ‬َ‫ﺎ ﺍﻷ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﺗﺤ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ﺮﹺﻱ ﻣ‬‫ﺗﺠ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﺧﹸﻮﻧ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻥ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ ﻋ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺟ‬  ‫ﻠ‬ ‫ﻨﺕ‬ an evil abode will be for the arrogant." And (16:31) ‫ﺘﻘ‬ ‫ ﺍﹾ‬ ‫ ﹺﻱ ﺍﻟﹼ‬ ‫ﻭ ﹶ ﹶ ﹶﻟﻚ ﻳ‬ ‫ﺂ‬ ‫ﺎ ﻳ‬ ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﲔ‬ ‫ﺠﺰ ﻠﻪ ﻟﻤ‬  ‫ﺸ ﺅ ﻥ ﻛﺬ‬ ‫ﻓ ﻬ ﻣ‬ (when) it is said to those who are the Muttaqûn (the pious) "What is it that yourLord has sent down?" They say: "That which is good." For those who do good in this world, there is good, and the home of the Hereafter will be better. And excellent indeed will be thehome (i.e. Paradise) of the Muttaqûn (the pious). ‘Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity) which they will enter, under which rivers flow, they will have therein all that they wish. ThusAllâh rewards the Muttaqûn (the pious).[16:28-31]
  • 19. ‫ﻲ‬ ‫ﺎ ﻭﺃﹶﹾﻟﻘﹶﻰ‬‫ﻧﻬ‬‫ﻭ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ ﺗ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺮﹺ ﻋ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ ﹺﺑﻐ‬‫ﺍﺕ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺧﻠﻖ ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ ﻓ‬ ‫ ﺴ ﻭ‬ ‫ﹶ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ﺎ ﻣ‬ ‫ﻴ‬‫ﺑ ﱠ ﻓ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻴﺪ ﺑﹺ ﹸﻢ‬ ‫ ﺃﹶﻥ ﺗ‬‫ﺍﺳﻲ‬‫ﻭ‬‫ﺽﹺ ﺭ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾﺄﹶﺭ‬ ‫ ﻜ ﺚ ﻬ‬‫ﻤ‬  He has created the heavens without any pillars that you see, and has set on the earth ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﺒﺘ‬‫ﺎﺀ ﻓﹶﺄﹶﻧ‬‫ﺎﺀ ﻣ‬  ‫ﺎ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﻟﹾﻨ‬‫ ﻭﺃﹶﻧﺰ‬‫ﺔ‬‫ﺍ‬‫ﻛ ﱢ ﺩ‬ ‫ﻓﻬ‬ ‫ ﺴﻤ‬   ‫ﹸﻞ ﺑ‬firm mountains lest it should shake with you.And He has scattered therein moving (living) ‫ ﺍﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬ ‫ﺬﹶﺍ ﺧﻠ‬‫ﻭﺝﹴ ﻛﹶﺮﹺﱘﹴ )01:13( ﻫ‬‫ﻦ ﻛ ﱢ ﺯ‬ ‫ ﹾﻖ‬  ‫ﻣ ﹸﻞ‬ creatures of all kinds. And We send down ‫ﺑﻞ‬ ‫ﻭﻧﹺﻪ‬‫ﻦ ﺩ‬ ‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ ﺍﱠ‬‫ﺎﺫﹶﺍ ﺧﻠﻖ‬‫ﻭﻧﹺﻲ ﻣ‬‫ﻓﹶﺄﹶﺭ‬ ‫ﹺ‬ ‫ﹶ ﻟﺬ ﻣ‬ water (rain) from the sky, and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow (31:11) ‫ﺒ ﹴ‬ ‫ﻲ ﺿﹶﺎ ﹴ‬ ‫ﻮ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺍﻟ ﱠﺎ‬ ‫ﻠ ﻝ ﻣﹺﲔ‬ ‫ﻈ ﻟﻤ ﻥ ﻓ‬ therein. This is the creation of Allâh. So show Me that which those (whom you worship) besides Him have created. Nay, the Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrongdoers and those who do not believe in the Oneness of Allâh) are in plain error. [31:11]
  • 20.  ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ )1:211( ﺍﻟﻠﱠ‬ ‫ ﺃﹶﺣ‬ ‫ﻮ ﺍﻟﱠ‬‫ﻗﻞﹾ ﻫ‬ ‫ﻪ ﺼﺪ‬ ‫ ﻠﻪ ﺪ‬ ‫ﹸ‬ ‫ﻟﹶﻢ‬‫ )3:211( ﻭ‬‫ﻮﹶﻟﺪ‬ ‫ﻟﹶﻢ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﻳﻠ‬ ‫)2:211( ﻟﹶﻢ‬ ‫ﻳ‬ (112:4)  ‫ﺍ ﹶﺣ‬ ‫ ﻛ ﹸ‬ ‫ ﹸﻦ ﱠ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﻳﻜ ﻟﻪ ﹸﻔﻮ ﺃ‬ is my Lord and your Lord"He is Allâh, (the) One. Allâh the Self-Sufficient Master,Whom all creatures need, "He begets not, nor was He begotten. “And there is nothing that could becompared with Him.” [112:1-4]
  • 21. ‫ﺎﺀ‬‫ ﻭﺇﹺﻳ‬‫ﺎﻥ‬‫ﺍﻹﺣﺴ‬ ‫ﺪﻝﹺ‬‫ ﺑﹺﺎﹾﻟﻌ‬‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺄ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﺇﹺ ﱠ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬ ‫ﺘ‬ ِ ‫ ﻭ‬ ‫ﻥ ﻠ ﹾﻣ‬ ‫ﺎﺀ‬‫ﻰ ﻋﻦﹺ ﺍﹾﻟﻔﺤﺸ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﻳﻨ‬‫ﻰ ﻭ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ﻱ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹸﺮ‬‫ﺫ‬ ‫ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻘ‬ Verily, Allâh enjoins Al-‘Adl (i.e. justice and worshipping none but Allâh Alone) and ‫ ﹶﻟﻌﱠ ﹸﻢ‬‫ﻳﻌ ﹸ ﹸﻢ‬ ‫ﻲﹺ‬‫ﺒﻐ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾ‬‫ﻨﻜﹶﺮﹺ ﻭ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹾ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﻠﻜ‬ ‫ﻈﻜ‬ ‫ﻤ‬Al-Ihsân [i.e. to be patient in performing your duties (16:90) ‫ﻭ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺬ ﱠ‬ ‫ﺗ ﹶﻛﺮ ﻥ‬ to Allâh, totally for Allâh’s sake and in accordancewith the Sunnah (legal ways) of the Prophet pbuh in a perfect manner], and giving (help) to kith and kin and forbids Al-Fahshâ’ (i.e. all evil deeds, e.g. illegal sexual acts, disobedience of parents, polytheism, to tell lies, to give false witness, to kill a life without right), and Al-Munkar(all that is prohibited by Islâmic law: polytheism of every kind, disbelief and every kind of evil deeds), and Al-Baghy (i.e. all kinds of oppression). He admonishes you, that you may take heed. [16:90]
  • 22. ‫ﺍ‬‫ﻮﺩ‬ ‫ﺎ ﻭﻗ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ ﻗ‬‫ﻭﻥ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬‫ﺬ ﹸﺮ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺍﱠ‬ ‫ﹸﻌ‬ ‫ﻟﺬ ﹾﻛ ﹶ ﻠ ﻴ ﻣ‬ ‫ﻲ ﺧﻠﻖﹺ‬‫ﻭﻥ ﻓ‬ ‫ﺘﻔﹶ ﱠ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻮﺑﹺﻬﻢ‬‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﻭﻋﻠﹶﻰ‬ ‫ ﹾ‬ ‫ﻜﺮ ﹶ‬ ‫ ﺟ ﹺ‬ Those who remember Allâh (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on ‫ﺎ ﺧﻠﻘﺖ‬‫ﺎ ﻣ‬‫ﺽﹺ ﺭ‬‫ﺍﻷَﺭ‬ ‫ﺍﺕ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﹶ ﹾ‬ ‫ﺑﻨ‬ ‫ﺴ ﻭ ﻭ‬ their sides, and think deeply about the ‫ ﹶﺍﺏ‬‫ﺎ ﻋ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ ﻓﻘ‬‫ﻧﻚ‬‫ﺎ‬‫ﺒﺤ‬ ‫ﻼ‬‫ﺎﻃ‬‫ﺬﺍ ﺑ‬‫ﻫ‬ ‫ﹶ ﺬ‬ ‫ﹰﺳ‬ creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): "Our Lord! You have not created (3:191) ‫ﺎ ﹺ‬‫ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﻨﺭ‬ (all) this without purpose, glory to You!(Exalted are You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. [3:191]
  • 23. ‫ﻮ‬‫ﺎﺏﹺ ﻫ‬‫ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﻴﻚ‬‫ﺎ ﺇﹺﻟﹶ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﺣﻴ‬‫ﻱ ﺃﹶﻭ‬‫ﺍﱠﺬ‬‫ﻭ‬  ‫ ﺘ‬  ‫ﻟ‬ ‫ ﺇﹺﻥ ﺍﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﻳﻪ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻴﻦ‬‫ﺎ ﺑ‬‫ﺪﻗﹰﺎ ﱢﻤ‬‫ ﻣﺼ‬ ‫ﺍﹾﻟﺤ‬  ‫ﱠ‬ ‫ ﻟ‬  ‫ﻖ‬ (35:31)  ‫ ﺑﺼ‬ ‫ﺒ‬ ‫ ﻟ‬  ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺑ‬ ‫ﲑ‬  ‫ﹺﻌﺒ ﺩﻩ ﹶﺨﹺﲑ‬ And what We have revealed to you(O Muhammad pbuh), of the Book (the Qur’ân), it is the(very) truth [that you (Muhammad pbuh) and your followers must act on its instructions], confirming thatwhich was (revealed) before it. Verily! Allâh is indeed All- Aware, and All-Seer of His slaves.[ 35:31]
  • 24. And has there come to you the story of Mûsâ ‫ﺍ ﻓ ﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ﺎﺭ‬‫ﻰ )9:02( ﺇﹺﺫﹾ ﺭﺃﹶﻯ ﻧ‬ ‫ﻮ‬‫ﻳ ﹸ ﻣ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ ﺣ‬‫ﺎﻙ‬‫ﻭﻫﻞﹾ ﺃﹶﺗ‬ ‫ﹶﻘ‬  ‫ﺚ ﺳ‬  (Moses)? When he saw a fire, he said to his family: ‫ﺒﺲ‬‫ﺎ ﹺﺑﻘﹶ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﻴ ﹸﻢ‬‫ﺍ ﱠﻟﻌﱢﻲ ﺁﺗ‬‫ﺎﺭ‬ ‫ﻧﺴﺖ‬‫ﻲ ﺁ‬‫ ﹸﺜﹸﻮﺍ ﺇﹺ‬‫ ﺍﻣ‬‫ﻪ‬‫ﺄﻫﻠ‬‫ﻟ‬ ‫ﹴ‬ ‫ﻠ ﻜ ﻣ‬ ‫ ﻧ‬ ‫ ﻜ ﻧ‬ ‫ﹶ‬"Wait! Verily, I have seen a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand there from, or find some ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻱ‬‫ﻮﺩ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺎﻫ‬‫ﺎ ﺃﹶﺗ‬ ‫ﻯ )01:02( ﻓﻠﹶ‬  ‫ﺎﺭﹺ‬‫ ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ ﺃﹶﺟﹺ‬‫ﺃﹶﻭ‬ ‫ﻧ ﻳ‬ ‫ﹶﻤ‬ ‫ ﻨ ﻫﺪ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ guidance at the fire."And when he came to it (the fire), he was called by ‫ﺍﺩ‬ ‫ ﺑﹺﺎﻟﹾ‬‫ﻧﻚ‬‫ ﺇﹺ‬‫ﻴﻚ‬‫ﻧﻌﻠﹶ‬ ‫ﺑﻚ ﻓﹶﺎﺧﻠﹶﻊ‬‫ﺎ ﺭ‬‫ﻲ ﺃﹶﻧ‬‫ﻰ )11:02( ﺇﹺ‬‫ﻮﺳ‬‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻮ‬    ‫ﻧ‬ name: "O Mûsâ (Moses)! ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ ﻟ‬‫ﻊ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ ﻓﹶﺎﺳ‬‫ﺗﻚ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﺎ ﺍﺧ‬‫ﻯ )21:02( ﻭﺃﹶﻧ‬ ‫ﺱﹺ ﻃﹸ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹾﻤﻘﹶ‬ ‫ﻤ‬  ‫ﺪ ﻮ‬"Verily I am your Lord! So take off your shoes; you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. "And I have chosen ‫ﻢ‬‫ﻧﹺﻲ ﻭﹶﺃﻗ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺎ ﻓﹶﺎﻋ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻟﱠﺎ ﺃﹶ‬‫ ﹶﺎ ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻪ‬‫ﺎ ﺍﻟﱠﻪ‬‫ﻨﹺﻲ ﺃﹶﻧ‬‫ﻰ )31:02( ﺇﹺ‬ ‫ﻮ‬‫ﻳ‬ ‫ ﹺ‬ ‫ﻧ ﺒ‬ ‫ﻠ ﻟ‬ ‫ﻧ‬ ‫ﺣ‬ you. So listen to that which will be revealed (to you). "Verily! I am Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Ana (20:14) ‫ﺬ ﹾ ﹺﻱ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﺼﹶﺎ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻛﺮ‬ ‫ﻠ ﺓ ﻟ‬ (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as- Salât) for My Remembrance. [20:9-14]
  • 25. ‫ﺔ‬‫ﺣﻤ‬‫ﺭ‬‫ﻮ ﺷﻔﹶﺎﺀ ﻭ‬‫ﺎ ﻫ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﺁﻥ‬‫ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹸﺮ‬‫ﺰ ﹸ ﻣﻦ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ ﹲ‬   ‫ ﻘ‬ ‫ﻝ‬ ‫ﻧ‬ And We send down of the Qur’ân that which is a (17:82) ‫ﺍ‬ ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ ﺇ ﱠ ﺧ‬ ‫ﻤ‬‫ ﺍﻟ ﱠﺎ‬ ‫ ﹺﻳ‬ ‫ ﻭ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﺆ‬ ‫ﻟ ﹾ‬ ‫ﺴ ﺭ‬ ‫ﲔ ﹶﻻ‬ ‫ﻻ ﻳﺰ ﺪ ﻈ ﻟ‬ ‫ﻣﹺﲔ‬ ‫ﱢﻠﻤ‬ healing and a mercy to those who believe and it increases the Zâlimûn (polytheists and ‫ﺎﻧﹺﺒﹺﻪ‬ ‫ﺄﹶﻯ ﹺﺑ‬‫ﻧ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﺽ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ ﹶﺃﻋ‬‫ﺎﻥ‬‫ﺎ ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺍ ِﻧﺴ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻧﻌ‬‫ﻭﺇﹺﺫﹶﺁ ﺃﹶ‬  ‫ﺠ‬ ‫ ﻹ‬  wrong-doers) nothing but loss. And when We bestow Our Grace on man (the ‫ﺎ )38:71( ﻗﻞﹾ ﻛ ﱞ‬‫ﻭﺳ‬ ‫ ﻛﹶﺎﻥﹶ ﻳ‬  ‫ﻪ ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﻭﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ ﻣ‬ ‫ﹸ ﹸﻞ‬ ‫ﺆ‬ ‫ ﺸﺮ‬ ‫ﺴ‬  disbeliever), he turns away and becomes arrogant ‫ﻮ‬‫ ﻫ‬‫ ﺑﹺﻤﻦ‬‫ ﹶﺃﻋﻠﹶﻢ‬‫ ﹸﻢ‬‫ ﻓﹶﺮ‬‫ﻪ‬‫ﺎﻛﻠﹶﺘ‬‫ﻤ ﹸ ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺷ‬‫ﻳﻌ‬   ‫ ﺑﻜ‬  ‫ﻞ‬ (far away from the Right Path). And when evil touches him, he is in great despair. (17:84) ‫ﹺﻴ ﹰ‬ ‫ﻯ‬  ‫ﺃ‬ ‫ﹶﻫﺪ ﺳﺒ ﻼ‬ Say (O Muhammad pbuh to mankind): "Each one does according to Shakilatihi (i.e. his way or hisreligion .), and your Lord knows best of him whose path (religion) is right." [17:82-84]
  • 26. ‫ﻭﻥ‬‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺄ‬‫ﺑﻌﺾﹴ ﻳ‬ ‫ﺎﺀ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻟ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻭ‬‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺑﻌﻀ‬ ‫ﺎﺕ‬‫ﺆﻣ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾﻤ‬‫ﻮﻥ ﻭ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﺆﻣ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾﻤ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ ﹾﻣ ﹶ‬ ‫ ﻬ‬ ‫ﻨ‬ ‫ ﹶ‬ Dwelling Place ‫ﻼﹶﺓ‬ ‫ﻮﻥﹶ ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﻴ‬‫ﻳﻘ‬‫ﻨﻜﹶﺮﹺ ﻭ‬ ‫ﻥﹶ ﻋﻦﹺ ﺍﻟﹾ‬‫ﻬﻮ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ ﻭﻳ‬‫ﻭﻑ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺑﹺﺎﻟﹾﻤﻌ‬ ‫ﻤ ﺼ ﹶ‬ ‫ ﻤ‬    ‫ﺌﻚ‬‫ﻟﹶـ‬‫ ﺃﹸﻭ‬ ‫ﻮﻟﹶ‬ ‫ﺭ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻮﻥ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬ ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻳ‬‫ﻮﻥﹶ ﺍﻟﺰ ﹶﺎﺓﹶ ﻭ‬‫ﺆ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﻭ‬  ‫ﻛ ﻄ ﻌ ﹶ ﻠ ﺳ ﻪ‬ ‫ﺗ‬ The believers, men and women, (9:71)  ‫ﻴ‬   ‫ ﹺﻳ‬  ‫ ﺇﻥ ﺍﻟﹼ‬ ‫ﻢ ﺍﻟﹼ‬     ‫ ﻠﻪ ﹺ ﱠ ﻠﻪ ﻋﺰ ﺰ ﺣﻜ ﻢ‬ ‫ﺳﻴﺮﺣﻤﻬ‬are Auliyâ’ (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another; they enjoin Al-Ma‘rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islâm has forbidden); they per-form As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give the Zakât,and obey Allâh and His Messenger. Allâh will haveHis Mercy on them. Surely Allâh is All-Mighty, All- Wise. [9:71]
  • 27. ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ ﹸﺃ‬ ‫ﻤﻠﹶﺘ‬‫ﺎ ﺣ‬‫ﺎﻧ‬‫ ﹺﺇﺣﺴ‬‫ﻪ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺍﻟ‬‫ﺎﻥ ﺑﹺﻮ‬‫ﺎ ﺍﹾﻟﹺﻧﺴ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﺻﻴ‬‫ﻭ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ ﻪ ﻣ‬  ‫ ﺈ ﹶ‬ ‫ ﹶﺛﻠﹶﺎﹸﻮﻥ‬‫ﺎﻟﹸﻪ‬‫ ﻭﻓﺼ‬‫ﺣﻤﹸﻪ‬‫ﺎ ﻭ‬‫ ﹸﺮﻫ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﺿﻌ‬‫ﻭ‬‫ﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﹸﺮﻫ‬ ‫ﺛ ﹶ‬  ‫ﻠ‬   ‫ ﻪ ﻛ‬ ‫ﻛ‬ And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and kind to his parents. His mother bears him with ‫ﺔ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ ﺳ‬‫ﺑﻌﲔ‬‫ﺑﻠﹶﻎﹶ ﺃﹶﺭ‬‫ﻩ ﻭ‬  ‫ﺑﻠﹶﻎﹶ ﺃﹶ‬ ‫ﻰ ﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ‬‫ﺍ ﺣ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﺷ‬ ‫ﹰ‬   ‫ﺷﺪ‬ ‫ﺘ‬ hardship. And she brings him forth with hardship, ‫ﻲ‬‫ ﺍﱠ‬‫ﺘﻚ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﹺﻧﻌ‬‫ﻜﺮ‬‫ﻨﹺﻲ ﺃﹶﻥﹾ ﺃﹶﺷ‬‫ﺯﻋ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻭ‬ ‫ﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﺭ‬ ‫ﻟﺘ‬ ‫ﹸ‬ ‫ﺏ ﹺ‬ ‫ﻗ‬and the bearing of him, and the weaning of him isthirty months, till when he attains full strength and ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻟ‬‫ﺎ‬‫ﻤﻞﹶ ﺻ‬‫ ﻭﺃﹶﻥﹾ ﹶﺃﻋ‬ ‫ﺪ‬‫ﺍﻟ‬‫ ﻭﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﻭ‬ ‫ ﻋﻠﹶ‬‫ﻤﺖ‬‫ﻧﻌ‬‫ﺃﹶ‬ ‫ﺤ‬   ‫ﻱ‬  ‫ﻲ‬  reaches forty years, he says: "My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I ‫ﻴﻚ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻟﹶ‬ ‫ﺒ‬ ‫ﻲ‬‫ﻲ ﺇﹺ‬‫ﻳﺘ‬ ‫ﻲ ﹸ‬‫ﻲ ﻓ‬ ‫ﺢ‬‫ﺎﻩ ﻭﺃﹶﺻﻠ‬‫ﺿ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺗ‬  ‫ﺫﺭ ﻧ ﺗ ﺖ‬ ‫ ﻟ‬  may be grateful for Your Favor which You have (46:15)   ‫ ﺍﹾﻤﺴ‬ ‫ﻲ ﻣ‬‫ﻭﹺ‬ ‫ﻠﻤﲔ‬  ‫ﻦ ﻟ‬ ‫ﺇﻧ‬bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my offspring good. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims (submitting to Your Will)." [46:15]
  • 28. ‫ﺰﻝﹸ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﺔ ﻭ‬‫ﺎﻋ‬ ‫ ﻋﻠﹾﻢ ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﻨﺪ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﺇﹺﻥ ﺍﻟﱠﻪ‬ ‫ ﻳ‬ ‫ ﺴ‬  ‫ﱠ ﻠ ﻩ‬ ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺎﻡﹺ ﻭ‬ ‫ﻲ ﺍﻟﹾﺄﹶﺭ‬‫ﺎ ﻓ‬‫ ﻣ‬ ‫ﻳﻌﻠﹶ‬‫ﻴﺚﹶ ﻭ‬‫ﺍﹾﻟﻐ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺣ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺍ ﻭﻣ‬‫ﻜﺴﺐ ﻏﹶﺪ‬‫ﺎﺫﹶﺍ ﺗ‬  ‫ﻧﻔ‬ ‫ﺭﹺﻱ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺗ‬   ِ ‫ﹾﺲ ﻣ ﹾ‬ Verily Allâh, with Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends ‫ ﺇﹺﻥ ﺍﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬ ‫ﻮ‬ ‫ﺽ ﺗ‬‫ ﺃﹶﺭ‬ ‫ ﹺﺑﺄﹶ‬ ‫ﻧﻔ‬ ‫ﺭﹺﻱ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺗ‬  ‫ﹾﺲ ﻱ ﹴ ﻤ ﺕ ﱠ‬down the rain, and knows that which (31:34) ‫ﺒ‬  ‫ﻴ‬‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﻠ ﻢ ﺧﹺﲑ‬ is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and noperson knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allâh is All-Knower, All-Aware (of things). [31:34]
  • 29. ‫ﻴﻚ‬‫ﻲ ﻋﻠﹶ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﹺﻧﻌ‬‫ ﺍﺫ ﹸﺮ‬‫ﻢ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﺑﻦ‬‫ﻴﺴﻰ ﺍ‬‫ﺎ ﻋ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﺇﹺﺫﹾ ﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬  ‫ﹾﻛ‬ ‫ﻗ ﻠ‬(Remember) when Allâh will say (on the Day of Resurrection). "O ‘Îsâ (Jesus), son of Maryam ‫ﺎﺱ‬‫ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﻜﱢﻢ‬ ‫ﺱﹺ‬ ‫ﻭﺡﹺ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹸ‬ ‫ﺗﻚ ﺑﹺ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ ﺇﹺﺫﹾ ﺃﹶ‬‫ﺗﻚ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺍﻟ‬‫ﻭﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﻭ‬  ‫ ﺮ ﻘﺪ ﺗ ﹶﻠ ﻨ‬ ‫ﻳ‬ (Mary)! Remember My Favor to you and to your mother when I supported you with Rûh-ul- ‫ﺔ‬‫ﻜﹾﻤ‬‫ﺍﹾﻟﺤ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﺎﺏ‬‫ ﺍﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ﺘﻚ‬‫ ﻭﻛﹶﻬﻼﹰ ﻭﺇﹺﺫﹾ ﻋﱠﻤ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﻲ ﺍﻟﹾﻤ‬‫ﻓ‬ ‫ﹶ‬ ‫ﺘ‬ ‫ﻠ‬    Qudus [Jibrîl (Gabriel)] so that you spoke to thepeople in the cradle and in maturity; and when I ‫ﺮﹺ‬‫ ﺍﻟ ﱠﻴ‬‫ﺌﹶﺔ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻄﲔﹺ ﻛﹶﻬ‬ ‫ﺗﺨﻠ‬ ‫ﻴﻞﹶ ﻭﺇﹺﺫﹾ‬ ‫ﺍﻹ‬ ‫ﺍﺓﹶ‬ ‫ﻮ‬‫ﺍﻟ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﻄ‬ ‫ ﱢ‬  ‫ﹸﻖ‬  ‫ﺘ ﺭ ﻭ ِﳒ‬ taught you writing, Al-Hikmah (the power of ‫ﻪ‬‫ ﹺﻯ ُ ﺍﻷﻛﹾﻤ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ﺍ ﺑﹺﺈﹺﺫﹾﹺﻲ ﻭ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺘﻜﹸﻮﻥ ﻃﹶﻴ‬‫ﺎ ﻓﹶ‬‫ﻴﻬ‬  ‫ﻨ ﹸ‬‫ﺑﹺﺈﹺﺫﹾﻧﹺﻲ ﻓﹶﺘ‬  َ ‫ﻧ ﺗﺮ ﺀ‬ ‫ﹸ‬ ‫ﻔﺦ ﻓ‬ understanding), the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel); and when you made out of the ‫ﻰ ﺑﹺﺈﹺﺫﹾﻧﹺﻲ ﻭﹺﺇﺫﹾ ﻛﻔﻔﹾﺖ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ ﺍﻟﹾﻤ‬ ‫ﺮ‬‫ﺗﺨ‬ ‫ ﺑﹺﹺﺈﺫﹾﻧﹺﻲ ﻭﺇﹺﺫ‬‫ﺹ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺍﻷَﺑ‬ ‫ ﹶﹶ‬ ‫ ﹾ ﹺﺝ ﺗ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ clay a figure like that of a bird, by My Permis- sion, and you breathed into it, and it became a ‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ ﻓ ﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﺍﱠ‬‫ﺎﺕ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ ﺑﹺﺎﻟﹾﺒ‬‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ ﺇﹺﺫﹾ ﺟﺌﹾ‬‫ﻨﻚ‬ ‫ﻴﻞﹶ‬‫ﺍ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﻨﹺﻲ ﺇﹺﺳ‬‫ﺑ‬ ‫ﻨ ﹶﻘ ﻟﺬ‬ ‫ﹺﻬ‬ ‫ﺋ ﻋ‬ bird by My Permission, and you healed those born blind, and the lepers by My Permission, (5:110) ‫ﺒ‬   ‫ـ ﹶﺍ ﺇﻻ ﺳ‬ ‫ ﹺ ﹾ‬    ‫ﻭﹾ‬ ‫ﻛ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺤﺮ ﻣﹺﲔ‬ ‫ﹶﻔﺮ ﺍ ﻣﻨﻬﻢ ﺇﻥ ﻫ ﺬ ﹺ ﱠ‬ and when you brought forth the dead by My Permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from you (when they resolved to kill you) as you came unto them with clear proofs, and the disbelievers among them said: ‘This is nothing but evident magic.’" [5:110]
  • 30. ‫ﺎﻋﻔﹶﻪ‬‫ﻴﻀ‬‫ﺎ ﻓﹶ‬‫ﺎ ﺣﺴ‬‫ﺿ‬‫ ﻗﹶﺮ‬‫ﻳﻘﹾﺮﹺﺽ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬ ‫ﻱ‬‫ﻦ ﺫﹶﺍ ﺍﱠﺬ‬  ‫ ﻨ‬ ‫ ﻠ‬ ‫ﻟ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ Who is he that will lend to Allâh a ‫ﻪ‬‫ﻂﹸ ﻭﺇﹺﹶﻟﻴ‬ ‫ﺒ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻳﻘﹺﺒﺾ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬ ‫ﺓ‬‫ﺜﲑ‬‫ﺎﻓﹰﺎ ﻛﹶ‬‫ ﺃﹶﺿﻌ‬ ‫ﻟﹶ‬   ‫ﺴ‬ ‫ﹰﻭﻠ ﹾ‬  ‫ﻪ‬ (2:245)‫ﻮ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺟ‬  ‫ﻌ ﻥ‬ ‫ﺗﺮ‬goodly loan so that He may multiply it to him many times? And it is Allâh that decreases or increases (your pro- visions), and unto Him you shall return. [2:245]
  • 31. ‫ﻭﺍﹾ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬ ‫ ﺫﻛﹶ‬‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻧﻔﺴ‬‫ﻮﺍﹾ ﺃﹶ‬‫ ﻇﻠﹶﻤ‬‫ﺔﹰ ﺃﹶﻭ‬‫ ﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ ﻓﻌﻠﹸﻮﺍﹾ ﻓﹶﺎﺣﺸ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺍﱠ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﹸ ﻬ ﹶ ﺮ ﻠ‬ ‫ﹶ‬  ‫ﹶ‬ ‫ﻟﺬ‬ And those who, when they have ‫ﻟﹶﻢ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ ﹺﺇﻻ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬‫ﻮﺏ‬‫ ﺍﻟ ﱡ‬ ‫ﻳﻐﻔ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ﻮﺑﹺﻬﹺﻢ ﻭﻣ‬‫ ﹸﻧ‬‫ﻭﺍﹾ ﻟ‬‫ﺘﻐﻔﹶﺮ‬‫ﻓﹶﺎﺳ‬  ‫ﱠ ﻠ‬ ‫ ﺮ ﺬﻧ‬   ‫ﺬ‬  committed Fâhishah (illegal sexual intercourse) or ‫ﺌﻚ‬‫ﻟﹶـ‬‫ﻮﻥﹶ )531:3( ﺃﹸﻭ‬‫ﻳﻌﻠﹶﻤ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺎ ﻓﻌﻠﹸﻮﺍﹾ ﻭ‬‫ﻭﺍﹾ ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﻣ‬ ‫ﻳﺼ‬  ‫ﻫ‬  ‫ﹶ‬  ‫ﺮ‬wronged themselves with evil, remember Allâh and ask forgiveness for their sins; - and none can ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﺗﺤ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ﺮﹺﻱ ﻣ‬‫ﺗﺠ‬  ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻬﹺﻢ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ ﹲ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﻢ ﻣﻐﻔ‬ ‫ﺁﺅ‬‫ﺰ‬‫ﺟ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ﻨﺕ‬ ‫ ﺓ ﻣ ﺭﺑ‬  ‫ﻫ‬ forgive sins but Allâh - and do not persist in what (3:136) ‫ﺎﻣﻠ‬ ‫ ﺍﻟ‬  ‫ﻢ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻧ‬ ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻴ‬  ‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺎﺭ‬  َ ‫ﺍ‬ ‫ﲔ‬ ‫ ﺃﺟﺮ ﹾﻌ‬ ‫ ﺧ ﻟﺪ ﻦ ﻓ ﻬ ﻭﹺﻌ‬ ‫ﻷﻧﻬ‬(wrong) they have done, while they know. For such, the reward is Forgiveness from their Lord, andGardens with rivers flowing underneath (Paradise), wherein they shall abide forever. How excellent is this reward for the doers (who do righteous deeds according to Allâh’s Orders). [3:135-136]
  • 32. ‫ﻠﹸﻮﺍ‬‫ )12:83( ﺇﹺﺫ ﺩﺧ‬‫ﺍﺏ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﻭﺍ ﺍﹾﻟﻤﺤ‬‫ﻮﺭ‬‫ﺴ‬‫ﻢ ﺇﹺﺫﹾ ﺗ‬‫ﺄ ﺍﻟﹾﺨﺼ‬‫ﺒ‬‫ ﻧ‬‫ﺎﻙ‬‫ﻞ ﺃﹶﺗ‬‫ﻫ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﹾ‬   ‫ ﹺ‬ ‫ﹸ‬ ‫ﹾ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﺑﻌﻀ‬ ‫ﻰ‬‫ﺑﻐ‬ ‫ﺎﻥ‬‫ﺼﻤ‬‫ ﺧ‬‫ﻒ‬‫ﺗﺨ‬ ‫ ﹶﺎﻟﹸﻮﺍ ﹶﺎ‬‫ﻬﻢ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ ﻓﻔﹶﺰﹺﻉ ﻣ‬‫ﻭﺩ‬‫ﺍﻭ‬‫ﻠﹶﻰ ﺩ‬‫ﻋ‬   ‫ ﻗ ﻟ‬  ‫ﹶ‬ And has the news of the litigants reached you? When they climbed over the wall into ‫ﺍﺀ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﺎ ﹺﺇﻟﹶﻰ ﺳ‬‫ﻧ‬‫ﺍﻫﺪ‬‫ﻂ ﻭ‬‫ﻄ‬‫ﺸ‬ ‫ﻖ ﻭﻟﹶﺎ‬‫ﺎ ﺑﹺﺎﹾﻟﺤ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ ﹸﻢ ﺑ‬‫ﺾﹴ ﹶﺎﺣ‬‫ﺑﻌ‬ ‫ﻠﹶﻰ‬‫ﻋ‬  ‫ ﺗ ﹾ‬ ‫ﻓ ﻜ ﻨ‬ (his) Mihrâb (a praying place or a private room); When they entered in upon Dâwûd (David), he ‫ﻲ‬‫ﺔﹰ ﻭﻟ‬‫ﻌﺠ‬‫ﻮﻥﹶ ﻧ‬‫ﺴﻌ‬‫ﺗ‬‫ﺴﻊ ﻭ‬‫ ﺗ‬ ‫ﻲ ﻟﹶ‬ ‫ )22:83( ﺇﹺﻥﱠ ﻫﺬﹶﺍ ﹶﺃ‬‫ﺍﻁ‬‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺍﻟ‬     ‫ ﺧ ﻪ‬ ‫ﺼ‬was terrified of them. They said: "Fear not! (We ‫ﻄﹶﺎﺏﹺ )32:83( ﻗﹶﺎﻝﹶ‬‫ﻲ ﺍﹾﻟﺨ‬‫ﻧﹺﻲ ﻓ‬ ‫ﻋ‬‫ﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﻠﹾﻨﹺﻴﻬ‬‫ ﹲ ﻓﻘﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﹶﺃﻛﻔ‬‫ﺍﺣﺪ‬‫ﺔ ﻭ‬‫ﻧﻌﺠ‬ ‫ﺰ‬ ‫ﹾ‬ ‫ ﺓﹶ‬ ‫ ﹲ‬are) two litigants, one of whom has wronged the other, therefore judge between us with truth, ‫ﻦ‬‫ﺍ ﻣ‬‫ﺜﲑ‬‫ﹺﺇ ﱠ ﻛﹶ‬‫ﺎﺟﹺﻪ ﻭ‬ ‫ ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻰ ﹺﻧ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﻧﻌﺠ‬ ‫ﺍﻝﹺ‬‫ﺆ‬‫ ﺑﹺﺴ‬‫ﻚ‬‫ ﻇﹶﻠﻤ‬‫ﹶﻟﻘﹶﺪ‬ ‫ ﻥ‬ ‫ﻌ‬  ‫ﹶ‬ and treat us not with injustice, and guide us to ‫ﻠﹸﻮﺍ‬‫ﻋﻤ‬‫ﻮﺍ ﻭ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ ﺁﻣ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬‫ﺾﹴ ﹺﺇﻟﱠﺎ ﺍﱠﻟﺬ‬‫ﻌ‬‫ﻠﹶﻰ ﺑ‬‫ﻢ ﻋ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﻌﻀ‬‫ﻲ ﺑ‬‫ﺒﻐ‬‫ﻠﹶﻄﹶﺎﺀ ﻟﹶﻴ‬ ‫ﺍﹾﻟ‬    ‫ﺨ‬ the Right Way. Verily, this my brother (in relig- ion) has ninety-nine ewes, while I have (only) ‫ﻪ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ﺘﻐﻔﹶﺮ ﺭ‬‫ ﻓﹶﺎﺳ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺎ ﻓﹶﺘ‬‫ﻧﻤ‬‫ﻭﺩ ﺃﹶ‬‫ﺍﻭ‬‫ﻇﹶﻦ ﺩ‬‫ﻢ ﻭ‬‫ﺎ ﻫ‬ ‫ﻴ ﹲ‬‫ﻗﹶﻠ‬‫ﺎﺕ ﻭ‬‫ﺤ‬‫ﺎﻟ‬ ‫ﺍﻟ‬   ‫ﻨﻩ‬    ‫ ﻞﻣ‬ ‫ﺼ‬ one ewe, and he says: "Hand it over to me, and (38:24) ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺎ ﻭﹶ‬ ‫ﺍﻛ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﺃﻧ ﺏ‬ ‫ﻌ‬ ‫ ﺭ‬ ‫ﺧ‬ he overpowered me in speech." (David) said(immediately without listening to the opponent):"He has wronged you in demanding your ewe in addition to his ewes. And, verily, many partners oppress one another, except those who believeand do righteous good deeds, and they are few."And Dâwûd (David) guessed that We have triedhim and he sought Forgiveness of his Lord, and he fell down prostrate and turned (to Allâh) in repentance. [38:21-24]
  • 33. ‫ﻴﻚ ﺑﹺﻪ‬‫ﺎ ﺁ‬‫ﺎﺏﹺ ﺃﹶﻧ‬‫ ﺍﻟﹾﻜ‬‫ ﻣﻦ‬ ‫ ﻋﻠﹾ‬ ‫ﻨﺪ‬‫ﻱ ﻋ‬‫ﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﺍﱠﺬ‬   ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ ﺘ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻩ‬ ‫ﻗ ﻟ‬ ‫ﺍ‬ ‫ﺘﻘ‬‫ ﻣﺴ‬ ‫ﺁ‬‫ﺎ ﺭ‬‫ ﻓﻠﹶﻤ‬‫ ﻃﹶﺮﻓﻚ‬‫ﻴﻚ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻟﹶ‬ ‫ﺗ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺒﻞﹶ ﺃﹶﻥ ﻳ‬‫ﻗﹶ‬ ‫ ﺮ‬‫ﻩ‬ ‫ﹸ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ One with whom was knowledge of the Scripture said: "I will bring it to you within ‫ ﹸﺮ‬‫ﻧﹺﻲ ﹶﺃﺃﹶﺷ‬‫ﺒﻠﹸﻮ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻲ ﻟ‬‫ﻦ ﻓﻀﻞﹺ ﺭ‬ ‫ﺬﹶﺍ‬‫ ﹶﺎﻝﹶ ﻫ‬ ‫ﻨﺪ‬‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﻜ‬ ‫ ﺑ‬ ‫ﻣ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻩﻗ‬ the twinkling of an eye!" Then when he [Sulaimân (Solomon)] saw it placed before ‫ﻦ‬‫ ﻭﻣ‬‫ﻨﻔﺴِﻪ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ ﹸﺮ‬‫ﻳﺸ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﻓﹶﺈﹺ‬‫ﻜﹶﺮ‬‫ﻦ ﺷ‬‫ ﻭﻣ‬‫ ﹶﺃﻛ ﹸﺮ‬‫ﹶﺃﻡ‬  ‫ﻜ ﹾ‬ ‫ﻧ‬  ‫ﹾﻔ‬ (27:40)  ‫ ﹶﺮ‬ ‫ﻲ ﹶﹺ‬ ‫ ﹶﹺ ﱠ‬ ‫ﻛ ﹶ‬ ‫ﹶﻔﺮ ﻓﺈﻥ ﺭﺑ ﻏﻨﻲ ﻛ ﹺﱘ‬ him, he said: "This is by the Grace of my Lord - to test me whether I am grateful orungrateful! And whoever is grateful, truly, his gratitude is for (the good of) his own self;and whoever is ungrateful, (he is ungrateful only for the loss of his own self). Certainly my Lord is Rich (Free of all needs), Bountiful." [27:40]
  • 34. ‫ﺎ ﺑﹺﻪ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﺎﺀ ﻓﹶﺄﹶﻧﺒ‬‫ﺎﺀ ﻣ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﻦ‬‫ﻝ ﻟﹶ ﹸﻢ ﻣ‬‫ ﻭﺃﹶﻧﺰ‬‫ﺽ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾﺄﹶﺭ‬‫ﺍﺕ ﻭ‬‫ﺎﻭ‬‫ ﺍﻟﺴﻤ‬‫ﻠﹶﻖ‬‫ ﺧ‬‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﹶﺃ‬  ‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﺴ‬ ‫ ﹶ ﻜ‬   ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻞﹾ ﻫﻢ‬‫ ﺑ‬‫ ﺍﻟﱠﻪ‬‫ ﻣﻊ‬ ‫ﺎ ﹶﺃﹺﺇﻟﹶ‬‫ﻫ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﻮﺍ ﺷﺠ‬‫ﻨﺒﹺﺘ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻥ ﺗ‬‫ﺎ ﻛﹶﺎﻥ ﻟﹶﻜﻢ‬‫ﺔ ﻣ‬‫ﻬﺠ‬‫ ﺑ‬‫ﻖ ﺫﹶﺍﺕ‬‫ﺍﺋ‬‫ﺣﺪ‬  ‫ ﻠ‬‫ﻪ‬  ‫ﹶ ﹸ‬     ‫ﺍ‬‫ﺎﺭ‬ ‫ﺎ ﺃﹶﻧ‬‫ﹶﺎﻟﹶﻬ‬‫ﻞ ﺧ‬‫ﺍ ﻭﺟﻌ‬‫ﺍﺭ‬‫ ﻗﹶﺮ‬‫ﺽ‬‫ﻞﹶ ﺍﻟﹾﺄﺭ‬‫ﻦ ﺟﻌ‬‫ﻳﻌﺪﻟﹸﻮﻥﹶ )06:72( ﹶﺃﻣ‬  ‫ﻗﹶﻮ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ ﹶ ﻠ‬ ‫ ﹶ‬   ‫ﻡ‬ ‫ﻞﹾ‬‫ ﺑ‬‫ ﻣﻊ ﺍﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬ ‫ﺍ ﹶﺃﹺﺇﻟﹶ‬‫ﺎﺟﹺﺰ‬‫ﻦ ﺣ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺒﺤ‬‫ﻦ ﺍﻟﹾ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻞﹶ ﺑ‬‫ﻲ ﻭﺟﻌ‬‫ﺍﺳ‬‫ﻭ‬‫ﺎ ﺭ‬‫ﻞﹶ ﻟﹶﻬ‬‫ﻭﺟﻌ‬  ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﹺ‬     ‫ﻜﹾﺸﻒ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﺎﻩ ﻭ‬‫ﻋ‬‫ ﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ ﺩ‬ ‫ﻄﹶ‬‫ ﺍﹾﻟﻤﻀ‬‫ﻳﺠﹺﻴﺐ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ﻮﻥﹶ )16:72( ﹶﺃﻣ‬‫ﻠﻤ‬‫ﻳﻌ‬ ‫ ﹶﺎ‬‫ﻢ‬‫ﻫ‬ ‫ﹶﺃﻛﹾﺜﹶ‬   ‫ ﺮ‬ ‫ﺮ ﻟ ﹶ‬ Is not He (better than your gods) Who created the (27:62) ‫ﻭ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺬ ﱠ‬ ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻴﹰﺎ‬‫ ﹶ‬ ‫ ﻣﻊ ﺍﻟﱠ‬ ‫ﻠ ﹶﺎﺀ ﺍﹾ ﹶﺭ ﹺ ﺃﺇﹶ‬ ‫ﹸ ﹸﻢ‬ ‫ﻳﺠ‬ ‫ﻮﺀ‬ ‫ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ ﻠﻪ ﻗﻠ ﻠ ﻣ ﺗ ﹶﻛﺮ ﻥ‬  ‫ﺽ ﹶﹺﻟﻪ‬ ‫ ﺧﹶﻔ ﻟﺄ‬ ‫ﻌﻠﻜ‬ ‫ﺴ َ ﻭ‬ heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water (rain)from the sky, whereby We cause to grow wonderful gardens ‫ﻦ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺍ ﺑ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺸ‬‫ ﺑ‬‫ﺎﺡ‬‫ﻳ‬ ‫ ﹸ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ﺮ ﻭﻣ‬‫ﺒﺤ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﹾﺒ‬‫ﻲ ﻇﹸﹸﻠﻤ‬‫ ﻓ‬‫ﻳﻜﻢ‬‫ﻬﺪ‬‫ﻦ ﻳ‬ ‫ﹶﺃ‬  ‫ ﻳ ﻞ ﺮ‬‫ﹺ‬  ‫ ﹸ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ full of beauty and delight? It is not in your ability to cause the growth of their trees. Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? ‫ﺒﺪﺃﹸ‬‫ﻦ ﻳ‬‫ﺮﻛﹸﻮﻥﹶ )36:72( ﹶﺃﻣ‬‫ﺸ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ ﻋﻤ‬‫ﺎﻟﹶﻰ ﺍﻟﱠﻪ‬ ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﻊ ﺍﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬  ‫ﻪ ﺃﹶﹺﺇﻟﹶ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ ﺭﺣﻤ‬‫ﻱ‬‫ﻳﺪ‬  ‫ ﻳ ﹺ‬ ‫ ﻌ ﻠ‬‫ ﻪﻣ‬   Nay, but they are a people who ascribe equals (to Him)! Is not He (better than your gods) Who has made the ‫ ﹸﻞﹾ‬‫ ﺍﻟﱠﻪ‬‫ﻊ‬  ‫ﺽ ﺃﹶﹺﺇﻟﹶ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾﺄﺭ‬‫ﺎﺀ ﻭ‬  ‫ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﹸﻜﹸﻢ‬‫ﺮﺯ‬‫ﻦ ﻳ‬‫ ﻭﻣ‬‫ﻴﺪﻩ‬‫ﻳﻌ‬  ‫ ﺛﹸ‬‫ﻠﹾﻖ‬‫ﺍﹾﻟﺨ‬ ‫ ﻗ ﻣ ﺴﻤ ﹶ ﹺ ﻪ ﻣ ﻠ ﻗ‬   ‫ﻢ‬earth as a fixed abode, and has placed rivers in its midst, and (27:64) ‫ﲔ‬‫ﻗ‬‫ﺎﺩ‬‫ﻢ ﺻ‬‫ ﹺﻥ ﻛﹸﻨﺘ‬‫ﻜﻢ‬‫ﺎﻧ‬‫ﻫ‬‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻮﺍ‬‫ﺎﺗ‬‫ﻫ‬  ‫ﺑ ﹸ ﺇ‬ has placed firm mountains therein, and has set a barrier between the two seas (of salt and sweet water)? Is thereany ilâh (god) with Allâh? Nay, but most of them know not! Is not He (better than your gods) Who guides you in the Is not He (better than your gods) Who responds to the darkness of the land and the sea, and Who sends the windsdistressed one, when he calls on Him, and Who removes the as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain)? Isevil, and makes you inheritors of the earth, generations after there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? High Exalted be Allâh above generations? Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? Little is that all that they associate as partners (to Him)! you remember! Is not He (better than your so-called gods) Who originates creation, and shall thereafter repeat it, and Who provides for you from heaven and earth? Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? Say: "Bring forth your proofs, if you are truthful." [27:60-64]
  • 35. ‫ﻲ‬‫ﺭ‬‫ﺑﻠﹶﻰ ﻭ‬ ‫ﺜﹸﻮﺍ ﻗﻞﹾ‬‫ﺒﻌ‬‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﻭﺍ ﺃﹶﻥ ﱠﻦ‬‫ ﻛﻔﹶﺮ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ ﺍﱠ‬‫ﻢ‬‫ﺯﻋ‬ ‫ﺑ‬ ‫ﹸ‬ ‫ﻟ‬ ‫ ﻟﺬ ﹶ‬ ‫ ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬‫ﻟﻚ‬‫ﺫﹶ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﻢ‬‫ﻤﻠﹾ‬‫ﺎ ﻋ‬‫ﻥ ﺑﹺﻤ‬ ‫ﻨ‬‫ ﻟﹶ‬ ‫ ﹸ‬ ‫ﹸﺜ‬‫ﺒﻌ‬‫ﻟﹶ‬  ‫ﺘ‬ ‫ﺘ ﻦ ﺛﻢ ﺘ ﺒﺆ ﱠ‬ The disbelievers pretend that they will never be resurrected (for the Account). Say ‫ﻱ‬ ‫ﻮﺭﹺ ﺍﱠ‬‫ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﻪ‬‫ﻮﻟ‬ ‫ ﻭﺭ‬‫ﻮﺍ ﹺﺎﻟﱠﻪ‬‫ﻨ‬‫)7:46( ﻓﹶﺂﻣ‬ ‫ﻳﺴ‬ ‫ﺳ ﻭ ﻨ ﻟﺬ‬  ‫ﺑ ﻠ‬ ‫ِﲑ‬(O Muhammad pbuh) Yes! By my Lord, you (64:8)  ‫ﻤﻠﹸﻮﻥ ﺧﹺﺒ‬‫ﺗﻌ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ ﹺﺑﻤ‬‫ﺍﻟﱠﻪ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻟﹾﻨ‬‫ﺃﹶﻧﺰ‬ ‫ﲑ‬ ‫ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻭﻠ‬will certainly be resurrected, then you will be informed of (and recompensed for) what you did; and that is easy for Allâh. Therefore, believe in Allâh and His Messen- ger (Muhammad pbuh ) and in the Light(this Qur’ân) which We have sent down. And Allâh is All-Aware of what you do. [ 64:7-8]
  • 36. ‫ﻑ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ ﻓﺴ‬‫ﻳﻨﹺﻪ‬‫ﻦ ﺩ‬ ‫ﻨ ﹸﻢ‬‫ ﻣ‬ ‫ﺮﺗ‬‫ﻦ ﻳ‬‫ﻮﺍﹾ ﻣ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ ﺁﻣ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺎ ﺍﱠ‬ ‫ﺎ ﺃﹶ‬‫ﻳ‬  ‫ﹶ‬ ‫ﺪ ﻜ ﻋ‬ ‫ﻳﻬ ﻟﺬ‬ ‫ﹺﻨﲔ‬‫ﺆﻣ‬‫ ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺍﻟﹾﻤ‬‫ﱠﺔ‬‫ ﺃﹶﺫ‬ ‫ﻧ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﻳﺤ‬‫ﻢ ﻭ‬ ‫ﻳﺤ‬ ‫ ﹺﺑﻘﹶﻮﻡ‬‫ﻲ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬‫ﺄﹾﺗ‬‫ﻳ‬   ‫ ﺒ ﻪ ﻟ‬ ‫ ﹴ ﺒﻬ‬ ‫ﻠ‬ ‫ ﻭﻻ‬‫ﻲ ﺳﹺﻴﻞﹺ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬‫ﻭﻥﹶ ﻓ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺎﻫ‬‫ﻳﺠ‬ ‫ ﹺﻳﻦ‬‫ ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺍﻟﹾﻜﹶﺎﻓ‬‫ﺓ‬ ‫ﹶﺃﻋ‬ ‫ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺒ ﻠ‬ ‫ﺮ‬  ‫ﺰ‬ ‫ﺎﺀ‬ ‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﻴﻪ‬‫ﺗ‬‫ﺆ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻟﻚ ﻓﻀﻞ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬‫ﻢﹴ ﺫﹶ‬‫ﺔﹶ ﻵﺋ‬‫ﺎﻓﹸﻮﻥﹶ ﻟﹶﻮﻣ‬‫ﻳﺨ‬ ‫ﺸ‬ ‫ﹸ ﻠ‬ ‫ﹶ‬  (5:54)  ‫ﻴ‬‫ ﻋ‬  ‫ﺍ‬  ‫ﺍﻟﹼ‬ ‫ﻠ ﻢ‬ ‫ﻭ ﻠﻪ ﻭ ﺳﻊ‬ O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion (Islâm),Allâh will bring a people whom He will loveand they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers,fighting in the Way of Allâh, and never fear of the blame of the blamers. That is theGrace of Allâh which He bestows on whomHe wills. And Allâh is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower. [5:54]
  • 37. (51:56) ‫ﻭﻥ‬ ‫ﻴﻌ‬‫ ﺇﹺﻟﱠﺎ ﻟ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾﺈﹺﻧﺲ‬‫ ﻭ‬ ‫ ﺍﹾﻟﺠ‬ ‫ﺎ ﺧﻠﻘ‬‫ﻭﻣ‬ ‫ﺒﺪ‬ ‫ﹶ ﹾﺖ ﹺﻦ‬  ‫ ﹶﻥ‬ ‫ﺎ ﹸﺭﹺﻳ‬ ‫ﺯﻕﹴ ﻭ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻨ‬‫ ﻣ‬ ‫ﺎ ﹸﺭﹺﻳ‬‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻣ ﺃ ﺪ ﺃ‬  ‫ﺃ ﺪ ﻬ ﻣ ﺭ‬And I (Allâh) created not the jinn and man- ‫ ﺫﹸﻭ ﺍﹾﻟﻘﹸﻮﺓ‬‫ﺍﻕ‬  ‫ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ ﻫ‬‫ )75:15( ﺇﹺﻥ ﺍﻟﱠﻪ‬‫ﻮﻥ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﻳﻄﻌ‬  ‫ﺮﺯ‬ ‫ﱠ ﻠ‬ ‫ﹾ‬ kind except that they should worship Me. (51:58)  ‫ﺘ‬ ‫ﺍﹾ‬ ‫ﲔ‬‫ﻟﻤ‬ I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for Mycreatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). Verily, Allâh is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. [51:56-58]
  • 38. ‫ﻮﻩ‬‫ ﹶﺎﺩﻋ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ ﺇﹺﱠﺎ ﻫ‬‫ ﻟﹶﺎ ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻪ‬ ‫ ﺍﹾﻟﺤ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﻫ‬  ‫ﻟ ﻓ‬ ‫ﻲ‬ ‫ﻟﻠﱠﻪ‬ ‫ﺪ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﺍﹾﻟﺤ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ ﻟﹶ‬‫ﻠﺼﲔ‬‫ﻣﺨ‬ ‫ ﻪ ﺪ‬  (40:65)   ‫ﺎﹶ‬ ‫ ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﺭ‬ ‫ﺏ ﹾﻌ ﻟﻤﲔ‬ He is the Ever Living, Lâ ilâha illâ Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He); so invoke Him making your worship pure for Him Alone (by worshipping Him Alone,and none else, and by doing righteous deeds sincerely for Allâh’s sake only, and not to show off, and not settingup rivals with Him in worship). All the praises and thanks be to Allâh, the Lord of the ‘Âlamîn (mankind, jinn O Allah! and all that exists). [40:65] Help me obey You, help me remember You, help me be grateful to You, and grant me an excellent ending. Ameen.
  • 39. ‫ﺬﹾﺭﹴ ﻓﹶﺈﹺﻥ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻢ‬‫ﺬﺭ‬‫ ﻧ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻭ‬‫ﻧﻔﻘﹶﺔ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻢ‬‫ﺎ ﹶﻧﻔﻘﹾ‬‫ﻭﻣ‬ ‫ﱠ‬ ‫ﹶﺗ ﻣ ﻧ‬ ‫ ﺃﹶﺘ ﻣ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺎﺭﹴ )072:2( ﺇﹺﻥ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻧﺼ‬‫ ﻣﻦ‬‫ﻤﲔ‬‫ﻠ ﱠﺎﻟ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ ﻭﻣ‬‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻳﻌﻠﹶ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬   ‫ ﻟﻈ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﻠ‬And whatever you spend for spending ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺗﺨ ﹸﻮ‬ ‫ ﻭﺇﹺﻥ‬‫ﻲ‬‫ﺎ ﻫ‬ ‫ ﻓﹶﹺﻨﻌ‬‫ﺪﹶﺎﺕ‬ ‫ﻭﺍﹾ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺒ‬ ‫ﻔ ﻫ‬  ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﻗ‬ ‫ﺼ‬ ‫ﺗ‬ (e.g., in Sadaqah - charity for Allâh’sCause) or whatever vow you make, be ‫ﻨ ﹸﻢ‬‫ ﻋ‬ ‫ﻜ ﱢ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﺮ ﱡ ﹸﻢ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻮ ﺧ‬‫ﺍﺀ ﻓﹶﻬ‬‫ﺎ ﺍﹾﻟﻔﻘﹶﺮ‬ ‫ﻮ‬‫ﺆ‬‫ﺗ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ ﻟﻜ ﻳ ﹶﻔﺮ ﻜ‬  ‫ﺗﻫ ﹸ‬ sure Allâh knows it all. And for (2:271)  ‫ﺒ‬ ‫ﻤﹸﻮﻥ‬ ‫ﺎ ﺗ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹼﻪ ﹺ‬  ‫ ﹸ‬‫ﹶﺎ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻠ ﹶ ﺧﹺﲑ‬ ‫ﻌ‬ ‫ ﺑﻤ‬ ‫ﻣ ﺳﻴﺌ ﺗﻜﻢ ﻭ ﻠ‬ the Zâlimûn (wrong-doers) there are no helpers. If you disclose your Sadaqât (alms-giving), it is well; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, that is better foryou. (Allâh) will expiate you some of your sins. And Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do. [2:270-271]
  • 40. ‫ﺎ ﺍﹾﻟﻘﹶﺎﺳﻄﹸﻮﻥﹶ ﻓﹶﻤﻦ‬‫ﻮﻥ ﻭﻣ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺎ ﺍﻟﹾﻤﺴﻠ‬‫ﺎ ﻣ‬‫ﻭﺃﹶ‬   ‫ ﻨ‬ ‫ ﹶ‬  ‫ﻧ ﻨ‬ ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺍ )41:27( ﻭﹶﺃ‬ ‫ﺷ‬‫ﺍ ﺭ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﺗﺤ‬ ‫ﺌﻚ‬‫ﻟﹶ‬‫ ﻓﹶﺄﹸﻭ‬‫ﺃﹶﺳﻠﹶﻢ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﺮ‬  ‫ﺎ )51:27( ﻭﺃﹶﻟﱠﻮ‬‫ﻨﻢ ﺣﻄﹶﺒ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﻟﺠ‬ ‫ﻮﺍ‬‫ﺍﹾﻟﻘﹶﺎﺳﻄﹸﻮﻥﹶ ﻓﹶﻜﹶﺎﻧ‬ ‫ ﹺ‬   ‘And of us some are Muslims (who have submitted to Allâh, after listening to this Qur’ân), and of us ‫ﺎﺀ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ ﻟﹶﺄﹶﺳﻘﹶﻴ‬‫ﻮﺍ ﻋﹶﻰ ﺍﻟ ﱠﺮﹺﻳﻘﹶﺔ‬‫ﺘ ﹶﺎﻣ‬‫ﺍﺳ‬ ‫ ﻫ ﻣ‬ ‫ﻠ ﻄ‬ ‫ﻘ‬ (72:16) ‫ﹶﺪ ﹰﺎ‬ ‫ﻗ‬ ‫ﻏ‬ some are Al-Qâsitûn (disbelievers - those who have deviated from the Right Path)’. And whosoever has embraced Islâm (i.e. has become a Muslim by submitting to Allâh), then such have sought the Right Path." And as for the Qâsitûn (disbelievers who deviated from the Right Path), they shall be firewood for Hell, If they (non-Muslims) had believed in Allâh, andwent on the Right Way (i.e. Islâm) We would surely have bestowed on them water (rain) in abundance. [72:14-16]
  • 41. ‫ﻪ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬‫ﻳﻌﻠﹶﻤ‬ ‫ﻭﻩ‬ ‫ﺒ‬ ‫ ﺃﹶﻭ‬‫ﻭﺭ ﹸﻢ‬  ‫ﻲ‬‫ﺎ ﻓ‬‫ﺗﺨﻔﹸﻮﺍﹾ ﻣ‬ ‫ﻗﻞﹾ ﺇﹺﻥ‬  ‫ ﻠ‬  ‫ﺻﺪ ﹺﻛ ﺗ ﺪ‬  ‫ﹸ‬ is never lost ‫ ﻋﻠﹶﻰ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹼ‬ ‫ﺽﹺ‬‫ﻲ ﺍﻷﺭ‬‫ﺎ ﻓ‬‫ ﻭﻣ‬‫ﺍﺕ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﻲ ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ ﻣ‬ ‫ﻳﻌﻠﹶ‬‫ﻭ‬  ‫ﻭ ﻠﻪ‬  ‫ﻢ ﻓ ﺴ ﻭ‬Say (O Muhammad pbuh) "Whether you hide what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allâh knows it, and ‫ﻠﺖ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺎ ﻋ‬ ‫ﻧﻔﺲﹴ‬ ‫ ﻛ ﱡ‬ ‫ﺗﺠﹺ‬ ‫ﻮﻡ‬‫ )92:3( ﻳ‬ ‫ﻳ‬‫ﺀٍ ﻗﹶﺪ‬‫ﻲ‬‫ﻛ ﱢ ﺷ‬ ‫ ﺪ ﹸﻞ ﹾ ﻣ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﹸﻞ‬He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. And Allâh is Able to do all things." On the ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻴﻨ‬‫ ﹶﺃﻥﱠ ﺑ‬‫ ﻟﹶﻮ‬ ‫ﻮ‬‫ﺀٍ ﺗ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﻦ ﺳ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﻠﺖ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ﺎ ﻋ‬‫ﺍ ﻭﻣ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺮﹴ ﻣﺤﻀ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ ﺧ‬‫ﻣﻦ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ﺩ‬ ‫ﹶ‬   Day when every person will be confronted with all ‫ﻭﻑ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹼﻪ ﺭ‬ ‫ﻪ‬‫ﻧﻔﺴ‬ ‫ ﱢﺭﻛﻢ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬‫ﻳﺤ‬‫ﺍ ﻭ‬‫ﻴﺪ‬‫ﺑﻌ‬ ‫ﺍ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ ﹶﺃﻣ‬ ‫ﻨ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ﻭ‬  ‫ ﺅ‬‫ ﻠ ﹾ ﻭ ﻠ‬ ‫ ﹸ‬ ‫ﺬ‬ ‫ﻪ‬the good he has done, and all the evil he has done, he will wish that there were a great distance (3:30)  ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﹺﺎﻟ‬ ‫ﺑ ﹾﻌﺒ ﺩ‬ between him and his evil. And Allâh warns youagainst Himself (His punishment) and Allâh is full of kindness to (His) slaves. [3:29-30]
  • 42. ‫ﻞ‬‫ﻳﺠﻌ‬ ‫ﺘ ﹸﻮﺍﹾ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬‫ﻮﺍﹾ ﺇﹶﻥ ﺗ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ ﺁﻣ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺎ ﺍﱠ‬ ‫ﻳﹺﺎ ﺃﹶ‬  ‫ﻘ ﻠ‬ ‫ﻳﻬ ﻟﺬ‬ O you who believe! If you obey and fearAllâh, He will grant you Furqân [(a criterion ‫ ﹸﻢ‬‫ﺌﹶﺎﺗ‬‫ﻨ ﹸﻢ ﺳ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻜ ﱢﺮ‬‫ ﹸﺮﻗﹶﺎﻧﺎﹰ ﻭ‬‫ﱠ ﹸﻢ‬  ‫ ﻴ ﻜ‬ ‫ ﻳ ﹶﻔ ﻜ‬ ‫ﻟﻜ ﻓ‬ to judge between right and wrong), or ‫ﻴﻢﹺ‬‫ ﺫﹸﻭ ﺍﹾﻟﻔﻀﻞﹺ ﺍﹾﻟﻌﻈ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹼ‬ ‫ ﻟﹶ ﹸﻢ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﻳﻐﻔ‬‫ﻭ‬   ‫ﹶ‬ ‫ ﻜ ﻭ ﻠﻪ‬(Makhraj, i.e. a way for you to get out from every difficulty)], and will expiate for you (8:29)your sins, and forgive you; and Allâh is the Owner of the Great Bounty. [8:29]
  • 43. ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﺿ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ ﻋ‬‫ﻨﺔ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ ﹸﻢ‬‫ﻦ ﺭ‬ ‫ﺓ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﻮﺍﹾ ﺇﹺﻟﹶﻰ ﻣﻐﻔ‬‫ﺎﺭﻋ‬‫ﺳ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ﺑﻜ‬ ‫ ﻣ‬  ‫ﹺ‬ (3:133)   ‫ﺘ‬ ‫ ﻟ ﹾ‬   ‫ ﺃ‬  َ ‫ﺍ‬  ‫ﺍ‬ ‫ﺎ‬  ‫ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﻘﲔ‬‫ﻠﻤ‬ ‫ﺴﻤ ﻭ ﺕ ﻭ ﻷﺭﺽ ﹸﻋﺪﺕ‬Loves those who do good ‫ﻤﲔ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾﻜﹶﺎﻇ‬‫ﺍﺀ ﻭ‬‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﺍﺀ‬‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻲ ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﻨﻔﻘﹸﻮﻥﹶ‬ ‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺍﱠ‬   ‫ ﻓ ﺴ ﻭ ﻀ‬ ‫ﻟﺬ ﻳ‬And march forth in the  ‫ﻳﺤ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬ ‫ﺎﺱ‬‫ ﻋﻦﹺ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﺎﻓﲔ‬‫ﺍﹾﻟﻌ‬‫ﻆﹶ ﻭ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺍﹾﻟﻐ‬ ‫ﺐ‬ ‫ ﻨ ﹺ ﻭ ﻠ‬  way (which leads to) forgiveness from your (3:134)  ‫ﺍﹾﻤﺤ ِﹺ‬ ‫ﺴﻨﲔ‬  ‫ﻟ‬Lord, and for Paradiseas wide as the heavensand the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqûn (the pious). Those who spend (in Allâh’s Cause) in prosperity and in adversity, who repressanger, and who pardon men; verily, Allâh loves Al-Muhsinûn (the good-doers). [3:133-134]
  • 44. ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻨ‬  ‫ﻴ‬‫ﻧﺼ‬ ‫ ﹸﻦ ﱠﻪ‬‫ﺔﹰ ﻳ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﺔﹰ ﺣﺴ‬‫ ﺷﻔﹶﺎﻋ‬‫ﻳﺸﻔﹶﻊ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ ﻜ ﻟ ﺐﻣﻬ‬   ‫ﻣ‬ with different results ‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻨ‬ ‫ ﻛﻔ ﹲ‬ ‫ ﹸﻦ ﻟﱠ‬‫ﺌﹶﺔ ﻳ‬‫ﺔﹰ ﺳ‬‫ ﺷﻔﹶﺎﻋ‬‫ﻳﺸﻔﹶﻊ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ﻭﻣ‬ ‫ ﹾﻞ ﻣ ﻬ‬ ‫ﻴ ﹰ ﻜ ﻪ‬    Whosoever intercedes for a good ‫ﺎ )58:4( ﻭﺇﹺ ﹶﺍ‬‫ﻴﺘ‬‫ﺀ ﻣﻘ‬‫ﻲ‬‫ ﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﻛ ﱢ ﺷ‬ ‫ﻭﻛﹶﺎﻥ ﺍﻟﹼ‬ ‫ﺫ‬  ٍ ‫ ﹸﻞ‬ ‫ ﹶ ﻠﻪ‬cause will have the reward thereof, and whosoever intercedes for an ‫ﺎ ﺇﹺﻥ‬‫ﻭﻫ‬ ‫ ﺭ‬‫ﺎ ﺃﹶﻭ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ ﻣ‬‫ﻮﹾﺍ ﺑﹺﺄﹶﺣﺴﻦ‬‫ ﻓﺤ‬‫ﺔ‬‫ﺘﺤ‬‫ﻢ ﺑﹺ‬‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﱠ‬ ‫ﺩ‬  ‫ﻴ ﹶ ﻴ‬ ‫ﺣﻴ ﺘ‬ evil cause will have a share in its (4:86) ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺀ ﺣ ِﻴ‬  ‫ ﹶﺎ ﹶ ﻋﹶﻰ ﻛ ﱢ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹼ‬ ‫ﺴ ﺒ‬ ٍ ‫ﻠ ﹸﻞ ﺷﻲ‬ ‫ﻠﻪ ﻛ ﻥ‬burden. And Allâh is Ever All-Able to do (and also an All-Witness to) everything. When you are greetedwith a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it, or (at least)return it equally. Certainly, Allâh is Ever a Careful Account Taker of all things. [4:85-86]
  • 45. ‫ﻪ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﺣﻤ‬‫ ﺭ‬‫ﻱ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ ﻳ‬‫ﻴﻦ‬‫ﺍ ﺑ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺑﺸ‬ ‫ﺎﺡ‬‫ﺳ ﹸ ﺍﻟﺮﻳ‬‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻱ‬‫ ﺍﱠﺬ‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﻭﻫ‬     ‫ﻞ‬ ‫ ﻟ ﻳ‬ ‫ﻴﺖ‬ ‫ﺒﻠﹶﺪ‬‫ ﻟ‬‫ﺎﻩ‬‫ﺛ ﹶﺎﻻﹰ ﺳﻘﹾﻨ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺎﺑ‬‫ ﺳﺤ‬‫ﻰ ﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ ﹶﺃﻗﻠﺖ‬‫ﺣ‬  ‫ﻣ‬  ‫ﻘ‬  ‫ﹶﱠ‬ ‫ﺘ‬And it is He Who sends the winds as heralds ‫ﺍﺕ‬ ‫ﻦ ﻛ ﱢ ﺍﻟﱠﻤ‬ ‫ﺎ ﹺﺑﻪ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ﺮ‬‫ﺎﺀ ﻓﺄﹶﺧ‬‫ ﺍﻟﹾﻤ‬‫ﺎ ﹺﺑﻪ‬‫ﻟﹾﻨ‬‫ﻓﹶﺄﹶﻧﺰ‬ ‫ﻣ ﹸﻞ ﺜ ﺮ‬ ‫ﹶ‬ of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (7:57) ‫ﻭ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺬ ﱠ‬  ‫ﱠ ﹸ‬ ‫ﻰ ﻟ‬ ‫ ﺍﹾﻤ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ ﻧ‬ ‫ﹶ ﹶﻟ‬ ‫ﺨ ﹺﺝ ﻟ ﻮﺗ ﹶﻌﻠﻜﻢ ﺗ ﹶﻛﺮ ﻥ‬ ‫ﻚ‬‫ﻛﺬ‬ (rain). Till when they have carried a heavy- laden cloud, We drive it to a land that isdead, then We cause water (rain) to descend thereon. Then We produce every kind of fruit therewith. Similarly, We shall raise upthe dead, so that you may remember or take heed. [7:57]
  • 46. ‫ﻳﻦ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺍﻟ‬‫ﺑﹺﺎﻟﹾﻮ‬‫ﻴﺌﹰﺎ ﻭ‬‫ ﺷ‬‫ﺮﻛﹸﻮﹾﺍ ﺑﹺﻪ‬‫ﺗﺸ‬ ‫ ﻭﻻ‬‫ﻭﹾﺍ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺍﻋ‬ ‫ﹺ‬ ‫ﹶ ﹺ‬ ‫ﻭ ﺒ ﻠ‬ ‫ﺎﻛﲔﹺ‬‫ﺍﻟﹾﻤﺴ‬‫ﻰ ﻭ‬‫ﺎﻣ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺍﹾﻟ‬‫ﻰ ﻭ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ﻱ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹸﺮ‬ ‫ﺑﹺ‬‫ﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﺎﻧ‬‫ﺇﹺﺣﺴ‬   ‫ﺘ‬ ‫ﺬ ﻘ‬  Worship Allâh and join none with Him (in worship); and do good to parents, ‫ﺎﺣﺐ‬ ‫ﺍﻟ‬ ‫ﻨﺐﹺ‬ ‫ﺎﺭﹺ ﺍﹾﻟ‬ ‫ﺍﹾﻟ‬‫ﻰ ﻭ‬‫ﺑ‬‫ﻱ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹸﺮ‬‫ﺎﺭﹺ ﺫ‬‫ﺍﹾﻟﺠ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ ﹺ‬ ‫ﺠ ﺠ ﻭﺼ‬ ‫ﻘ‬kinsfolk, orphans, Al-Masâkîn (the poor), the neighbor who is near of kin, the ‫ ﺇﹺﻥ‬‫ ﹸﻢ‬‫ﺎ‬‫ﻤ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻳ‬‫ﺎ ﻣﻠﹶﻜﺖ‬ ‫ﹺﻴﻞﹺ ﻭ‬ ‫ﺑﻦ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﺍ‬ ‫ﺑﹺﺎﳉﹶﻨﺐﹺ‬ ‫ﻧﻜ ﱠ‬ ‫ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻭ ﹺ ﺴﺒ‬ (4:36) ‫ﺍ‬ ‫ﻮ‬ ‫ﺎ ﹰ ﻓ‬ ‫ﻦ ﹶﺎ ﹶ ﻣ‬  ‫ ﹶ ﻳﺤ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﹼ‬ ‫ﺨﺘ ﻻ ﹶﺨ ﺭ‬ ‫ﺐ ﻣ ﻛ ﻥ‬  ‫ﻠﻪ ﻻ‬neighbor who is a stranger, the companionby your side, the wayfarer (you meet), and those (slaves) whom your right handspossess. Verily, Allâh does not like such as are proud and boastful. [4:36]
  • 47. ‫ﻮﻝ‬  ‫ ﻭﺇﹺﻟﹶﻰ ﺍﻟ‬‫ﺎ ﺃﹶﻧﺰﻝ ﺍﻟﹼﻪ‬‫ﺍﹾ ﺇﹺﹶﻰ ﻣ‬‫ﺎﻟﹶﻮ‬‫ﺗﻌ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻴﻞﹶ ﻟﹶ‬ ‫ﻭﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ‬ ‫ ﺮﺳ ﹺ‬ ‫ ﹶ ﻠ‬ ‫ﻟ‬ ‫ ﻗ ﻬ‬And when it is said to them: "Come to what Allâh ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺎﺅ‬‫ ﻛﹶﺎﻥ ﺁﺑ‬‫ﹶﻟﻮ‬‫ﺎ ﺃﹶﻭ‬‫ﺎﺀﻧ‬‫ ﺁ‬‫ﻴﻪ‬‫ﺎ ﻋﻠﹶ‬‫ﺪﻧ‬‫ﺟ‬‫ﺎ ﻭ‬‫ﺎ ﻣ‬‫ﻨ‬‫ﻗﹶﺎﻟﹸﻮﺍﹾ ﺣﺴ‬  ‫ﻫ‬ ‫ﹶ‬ ‫ ﺑ‬  ‫ ﺒ‬has revealed and unto the Messenger (Muhammadpbuh) for the verdict of that which you have made ‫ﻮﺍﹾ‬‫ ﺁﻣ‬‫ﻳﻦ‬ ‫ﺎ ﺍﱠ‬‫ﻳﻬ‬‫ﺎ ﺃﹶ‬‫ﻭﻥﹶ )401:5( ﻳ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻬ‬‫ﺌﹰﺎ ﻭﻻ ﻳ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﻮﻥﹶ ﺷ‬‫ﻳﻌﻠﹶﻤ‬ ‫ﻻﹶ‬ ‫ﻟﺬ ﻨ‬ ‫ﹶ ﺪ‬ unlawful." They say: "Enough for us is that whichwe found our fathers following," even though their ‫ ﺇﹺﹶﻰ‬‫ﻢ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﺪ‬‫ﺘ‬‫ﻦ ﺿ ﱠ ﺇﹺﺫﹶﺍ ﺍﻫ‬ ‫ﺮﻛﹸﻢ‬ ‫ﻳ‬ ‫ ﻻﹶ‬‫ ﹸﻢ‬‫ ﺃﹶﻧﻔﺴ‬‫ ﹸﻢ‬‫ﻋﻠﹶﻴ‬ ‫ﺘ ﻟ‬ ‫ﻞ‬ ‫ ﻣ‬ ‫ﻀ‬ ‫ﻜ ﹸ ﻜ‬ fathers had no knowledge whatsoever nor (5:105) ‫ﻤﹸﻮ ﹶ‬ ‫ ﺗ‬ ‫ﺎ ﹸﻨﺘ‬ ‫ﺌ ﹸﻢ ﹺ‬‫ﺎ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻴ‬   ‫ ﹸ‬ ‫ﺟ‬   ‫ﺍﻟﹼ‬ ‫ﻠ ﻥ‬ ‫ﻌ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻠﻪ ﻣﺮ ﹺﻌﻜﻢ ﺟﻤ ﻌ ﻓﻴﻨﺒﹸﻜ ﺑﻤ ﻛ‬ guidance. O you who believe! Take care of yourown selves. If you follow the (right) guidance [and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong nohurt can come to you from those who are in error. The return of you all is to Allâh, then He will inform you about (all) that which you used to do. [5:104-105]
