West Hollow Middle School’s mission is to unify and foster the high expectations and virtuous beliefs of a diverse population in the pursuit of both individual and communal achievement. This success will be attained by creating a socially equitable atmosphere that encourages and sustains collaboration among the school, families, and community members. The complex and interrelated academic, developmental, emotional, and social needs of our students will form the core of the West Hollow Middle School’s ongoing mission.
“ By respecting ourselves and others, we believe we can achieve our highest expectations.”
Students will receive homework each day. They will be responsible for copying all assignments in their agenda books neatly, accurately, and in a timely fashion. Homework will also be posted on the Team 6-2 eBoard.
Students are responsible for writing Team 6-2’s heading on every assignment.
Students will be expected to complete all assigned work. On the occasion of incomplete or missing work, a note will be expected.
Ms. Chiam's classroom is a place where attitude is more important than ability. This is a place where asking questions is a sign of thoughtful intelligence. This is a place where it is safe to make a mistake outloud because we work together as a team. We succeed together, with one another. Here we will think mathematically and recognize the places we use math everyday. Ms. Chiam's classroom is a place where you are welcome everyday and you are a valuable member of our team.
