  2. 2. He wowed the audienceusing down homevalues, a set up storyfrom his past anddevastating facts. Hisdemeanor was humbledand even though hisaudience was aconsiderable size hemaintaining good eyecontact.
  3. 3. Bryan Stevenson is the founder of the organization of the equaljustice initiative. He is the founder and executive director. He is aAlabama lawyer who dedicates histime to help the poor, incarcerated and those on death row.
  4. 4. Using his skills as a lawyer he has made it a mission to assist theyoung incarcerated and eliminate excessive and wrongful sentencing.
  5. 5. One of his successes includesexonerating condemned prisoners on death row.Additionally an achievement of hisorganization was banning lifeimprisonment without the possibilityof parole, imposed on convictedchildren.
  6. 6. During the lecture Bryan usedinsightfulness of agrandmother’s love to deliver astory. The is the fourth TEDCommandment of “Thou ShallTell A Story”.
  7. 7. DYNAMISM RATING: 4/5I would rate Bryan as a four because of his lack ofvoice inflection when moments of expression called forthem.
  8. 8. He has a calm demeanor and ahumbled speaking voice. Thelecture he gave didn’t requiremuch inflection.
  9. 9. Throughout the presentationBryan seemed to lead intoeach area of the lecture witha lead in point Being honest in what you do. His grandmother asked him in the story to never drink alcoholic beverages. So he didn’t. Throughout the presentation he moved the audience through the content of his lecture with leading statements.
  10. 10. After giving plenty offacts, to show someslides of kidsincarcerated wouldhave hit a home run.
  11. 11. Although as a presenter,you must displayconfidence and an evenminded approach, youdo not have toflamboyant to have thesame effect on youraudience,
  12. 12. His style seemed to besomewhat of a teachingstyle. Where he is theteacher and theaudience are students.Give your audiencesomething they havenever heard of.
  13. 13. Sir Ken Robinsonused a strange gait(at least I thought itwas strange) andcomedic style ofcapturing andkeeping theattention of theaudience during thelecture.
  14. 14. He constantly asked theaudience questions ormade comments thatrequired some form ofinteractivity.
