  • 1. The Third Week of Advent Come, See How Much God Loves
    • Leader
    • May the Lord’s love
    • shine in our hearts.
    • All:
    • May the Love of Christ
    • live in the hearts of all
    • people this Advent time.

    • Leader:
    • The one who is coming will be known as the
    • Light of the World.
    • All who dwell in Him will dwell in love forever
    • and no darkness will be in them.
    • All:
    • Jesus, be our hope, our peace,
    • our light, and our love.
  • 3.
    • Reader:
    • From the very beginning of creation
    • Our God has made known great love.
    • When our need for a Savior was great,
    • God sent his Son to be born of the Virgin Mary.
    • To our lives this Savior brings joy and peace,
    • justice, mercy, and love.
    • Lighting of the Third Candle
  • 4. Sung Response Tune: Away in a Manger
    • All sing:
    • A candle is burning, a candle of love,
    • A candle to point us to heaven above,
    • A Baby for Christmas, a wonderful birth,
    • For Jesus is bringing God's love to our earth.

    • Reader:
    • Loving God, we thank you for the light that you have sent and are sending into the world, the light that even now lights our path.
    • As you visited Mary and promised to her
    • to bring forth from her the Promised One,
    • so visit us this day and give us
    • eyes to see, and hearts to welcome
    • your presence. Make us a people who
    • receive and give birth to your love in
    • the world.
    • All: Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
