  • The Second Week of Advent Jesus is our Peace

    • May the Peace of Christ
    • be with us all.

    • May the Peace of Christ
    • live in the hearts of all
    • people this Advent time.
  • Prepare the Way of the Lord
    • Together we sing:
    • Prepare the way of the Lord.
    • Prepare the way of the Lord.
    • And all people shall see the
    • Salvation by our God. (repeat)
    • Reader:
    • God does not ask us to be John the Baptist. God simply
    • asks us to take small steps each day in response to all that
    • he has given us. There is great power in accomplishing
    • little things for the love of Jesus.
  • Lighting of the Second Candle
    • Leader:
    • Let us pray that we may experience this
    • Advent the Peace only Jesus can give us.
    • All:
    • Come, Lord Jesus!
    • May your healing love bring peace to all
    • the world.
  • Advent Reflection
    • Reader:
    • You and I have been called to “prepare the
    • way of the Lord,” to tell people that Jesus is
    • going to come again and to help them
    • prepare for him. Let us avoid what is evil,
    • and do what is good. Let us prepare our
    • hearts and get ready to receive him with joy!
    • Take a few moments right now to ask the Lord to
    • help your bring more peace to those around you.
