    • Rosemont School of the Holy Child Opening Faculty Days 2009 “ Nurturing Excellence in a Joyful Catholic Community”
    • Reflection
      • Be Exalted, O God
    • The heavens declare the glory of God!
    • And all the earth proclaims your greatness!
    •
    • All: We praise you, O God!
    • All: Let all the people praise you!
    • We praise and thank you for choosing men and women in every age, and everywhere to make your goodness known!
    • We thank you for Cornelia Connelly, for her spirituality and for her educational vision: from “Cornelia the Educator,” Yes, Lord, Always Yes, 109 -111.
    • Holy Child Network of Schools
    • All: Here in this place we celebrate this heritage!
    • We thank you for our mission: to help others to believe and to understand that God has entered our world…
    • … and we can rejoice in God’s presence among us!
    • All: As we begin again, strengthen us for the work you entrust to us this year. May nothing cloud our vision. Help us to “nurture excellence in a joyful Catholic community.”
    • This day, August 31, let us take to heart the words of Cornelia Connelly: “ Continue to praise, love and thank God, to offer yourself to Him.”
    • All: Bless us, Lord, and bless the children you entrust to our care. Sung Refrain: All:
    • For these things we pray and have great confidence in God: All: Glory be to God whose power working in us can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine! Closing Hymn Be Exalted, O God
