    • Siberian tigers different from other tiger species:
    • -> Bigger -> Thinner fur -> Stripes dark brown
  3. Size
    • -> Biggest cat in the world.
    • -> Medium weight:
    • Female species 160 KG
    • Male species 225 KG
    • -> Almost 2 meters long!
  4. Food and hunting
    • -> Predator
    • -> Likes fish
    • -> Can hunt also Leopards, Crocodiles, Brown Bears and Giant Pandas.
    • -> Doesn’t kill humans for food
  5. A Siberian Tiger is hunting

    • -> Sexual Maturity at age of 4
    • -> There will normaly born about 3-4 cups
    • -> Usually there will born more female cups than male cups.
  8. Siberian Tigers in danger
    • -> Hunted for their skin and size
    • -> Some rare species: White Siberian Tigers – extremly endangered
    • -> In 1982 there was started the Siberian Tiger protection project.
    • -> Not hard to keep them in zoo
    • -> Hard to let them to the wild
