  2. 2. _______________________________ Student Name _______________________________ Student Signature _____________ Date I have read and understand the course guide. _______________________________ Parent/Guardian Name _______________________________ Parent/Guardian Signature _____________ Date Cheating/Plagiarism: Don’t Do It! Plagiarism on papers and projects, cheating during tests/quizzes and copying of homework will NOT be tolerated. All parties involved will receive a ZERO on the assignment and I will contact home. Look at it this way – do not GIVE answers and do not TAKE answers. Both are considered cheating. What if I’m absent? Make-Up Work - As soon as you return, check for missed in-class and homework assignments. Extra papers will be available in the classroom. If you have any questions, please see me. Tests/Quizzes – If you are absent for a test or quiz you must see me to schedule your makeup. We can set up another time that is convenient for you. The test must be taken within a reasonable amount of time once you return to school. We will determine this time frame together. Homework/Chapter Study Guides For each chapter, you will create a “cheat sheet” that can be used for AP review in the Spring. This chapter summary will include definitions of key terms and answers to learning objective questions that derive from the College Board’s AP Psychology course guidelines. These chapter study guides will be collected and graded at or near the beginning of each chapter to ensure that you completed the assigned reading and are prepared for class. “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” – Thomas A. Edison I will ALWAYS respect and appreciate your BEST EFFORT, so give it your all! Extra Help I am always available if you have questions or need help. I am accessible during periods 4, 5 and 7, before and after school by appointment. See me after class so we can set up a time and place for you to get extra help!
