Nursing Ethics <ul><li>The American Nurses Association posts the Code of Ethics for Nurses, which declares that nurses must uphold respect for human dignity which includes inherent worth, dignity and human rights of every individual. It goes on to say, “Such consideration does not suggest that the nurse necessarily agrees with or condones individual choices, but that the nurse respects the patient as a person” (2001). </li></ul>
