    Used BISAC headings for basis of categories
    Subject searches through ILS and OPAC
    Circulation data from July 1, 2010 to present
    Sorted 84,000+ items by call number and exported to Excel
    Used formulas to add number of times items circulated and assigned to categories
    Data visualizations created through IBM’s free program Many Eyes
  • 3. Limitations
    Subject searches may count some items twice
    Some items may fit into more than one category
    For most items, it is impossible to tell their category just by viewing the title.
    Need more extensive ILS reporting capabilities
