Kyle Cooper is very talented and famous title designer who hasdirected over 150 film title sequence and have all been extremelysuccessful and award winning. He is apart of two well recognized filmdesign companies, Imaginary Forces and Prologue Films. Cooper wasborn July 1962 and studied graphic design at Yale University andearned a M.F.A (master of fine arts). After this time he worked acreative director at an advertising agency in New York and LosAngeles. Cooper is well known for his outstanding title sequence forthe master piece, Se7en, which inspired many other youngerdesigners. This gives a small insight of how good Cooper really is. Healways wanted to raise the bar in creativity and felt that by creatingthe title sequence for Se7en, it certainly done this. In 2003 Cooperthen found the creative agency called Prologue, which was based inMalibu, yet moved to offices in L.A in 2008. His worked is sometimescompared to Saul Bass work. SE7EN is an American thriller film which was directed by David Fincher, which stars, BradPitt, Morgan Freeman and Gwyneth Paltrow. Kyle Cooper’s title designs for this film, aresaid to have “almost single-handedly revitalizing the main-title sequence as an art form”.Se7en is based on a murderer who corresponds to the seven deadly sins:Gluttony, envy, lust, pride, sloth, greed and wrath. This film is said to be one of Coopersbest title sequence.
