Ma rch 23, 2010 - Medya Derneği is introduced to the public

June 11, 2010 – Board of Directors visits the Turkish President Abdullah Gül

November 5, 2010 – Minister of Justice Sadullah Ergin visits our association

November 12, 2010 – Former President of Northern Cyprus M. Ali TALAT visits our association

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

June 10, 2010 – Introducing the ‘Med ia Ethi cs Course ’ with ICFJ (International Center For Journalists)

August 5 – September 16, 2010 – Online ‘Media Ethics’ course for Turkish journalists by Alper Görmüş

September 30 – November 11, 2010 - Online ‘Ethics of Digital Journalism’ course for Turkish journalists by Cemil Barlas

January 25-27, 2011 – Media Ethics Workshop with 25 journalists who have attended our journalism course with ICFJ

July 31, 2010 – ‘ The Social Media for Journalists 101 ‘ seminar with Social Media Agency Dekatlon Buzz

January 16, 2011 – ‘ New Media, New Opportunites ’ training program at Bilgi University by Salih Memecan, Erkan Saka and Serdar Kuzuloğlu

Introducing our internship program in Marmara University

January 26, 2011 – ‘Me dia Gatherings ’ program with art directors and photo editors, hosting USA Today ‘ s former manager Frank Folwell

February 9, 2011 – New York St. Francis College Professor Dennis Anderson meets with IT managers of the Turkish media companies

January 28, 2011 – Media Ethics and Wikileaks : Prof. Dr. Sherry Ricchiardi, Frank Folwell, Ahmet Böken and Alper Görmüş
