the web has been social from the beginning, we just forgot for a while originally physicists sharing info amongst themselves forums threadless grew out of a forum. jake won contest. kept doing it. grew a community around it. started his own site with a community already there.

i don’t get tumblr but man stuff spreads. we have our digital natives working this and in a short time have gotten tremendous momentum instagram too
