Hello, my name is Andrew. My family and I visit Mazatlan often and own a home there. We can’t be there all the time, though, and thought others might enjoy the chance to experience living in a “real” Mazatlan neighborhood. If you’re interested in just such an experience, we may have a good option for you.
814 CalleCipres, is a 3-bedroom, one and one-half bath home in Colonia Estadio (that’s Stadium neighborhood for you non-Spanish speakers). The Estadio neighborhood is located about a mile from Valetino’s, the beginning of the Golden Zone.
Within the Estadio neighborhood, 814 Cipres is located about two blocks away from the TeodoroMariscal baseball stadium, home of the Venados de Mazatlan, a professional baseball team in the Mexican Pacific League.
I have family in Mazatlan and some of them live in, or around, the Estadio neighborhood. This neighborhood is well established and home to middle-income families, many of whom have lived here 20 or more years.
We bought Casa Cipres in December 2005 as a vacation home. We spend as much time there as we can, but since we can’t be there all the time, we thought others might enjoy an opportunity to live in the “real” Mazatlan. The home needed several improvements, so we contracted for a major remodel including everything listed here.
The front patio has a carport large enough for almost any sized car or truck and has a locking gate.
