According to their [green job] research, all sectors of industry will be increasingly looking for skilled employees with education in applied environmental sciences and technology as business changes its practices more and more toward conserving energy and managing resources more effectively, sustainability, and reducing costs.
Preparing students for further study or a career in Environmental Science by providing them with broad knowledge of the physical and life sciences with an emphasis on their applications to environmental science and giving them local real-world experience in the field.
