  4. 4. Summer Reading 2011 Monday, June 6th-Thursday, June 16th Weekly sessions for children ages 3-entering 6th grade. Registration for these programs is required and begins Monday, May 23rd.Mondays: Ages 3-Entering Kindergarten Wednesdays: Entering Grades 3-4 9:30-11:00, 1:30-3:00, 5:30-7:30 9:30-11:30, 1:30-3:30Tuesdays: Entering Grades 1-2 Thursdays: Entering Grades 5-6 9:30-11:00, 1:30-3:00, 5:30-7:30 9:30-11:30, 1:30-3:30
  5. 5. Summer Reading 2011 P Sign up for Summer Reading starting May 23rd and you could win a $1,000 college scholarship, digital camera, or other great prizes! All participants will also receive free coupons to local attractions.

  7. 7. Be a Bookworm! Listen to stories or read books on your own to win prizes this summer! Sign up for the Bookworm program and receive reading logs which can be turned in for prize entries. The more you read, the better your chances of winning! Children who read for at least 5 hours this summer will also receive a free book.

  9. 9. African Crafts and Storytelling Friday, June 17th • 1:00-3:00 PM David T. Wilson Elementary Enjoy an afternoon of African crafts and folktales with storyteller Joann Fitzgibbons. Free for all ages and no registration required.

All reading logs and Flat Stanley entries due by June 30th. Free for all ages and no registration required.
  13. 13. Flat Stanley Staycation Explore your hometown and save gas money by having a Staycation this year! Pick up an entry form at the Meade County Public Library, visit 4 of 8 local attractions, and enter to win prizes!

Travel with Flat StanleyPick up an entry form at the Meade County Public Library and send your Flat Stanleyaround the world as a part of our Summer Reading "One World, Many Stories" program! Decorate and take pictures of your Flat Stanley with you on vacation or mail it to a friend. Turn in your pictures tothe library by June 30th for chances to win a digital camera and other prizes!
