  • 2. www.kabbalah-dating.comWhat is Kabbalah? Kabbalah is an esoteric method, discipline, and school of thought that was created within the Judaic framework and it is also used in Christian and New Age thought. Kabbalists often use classical Jewish sources to explain and demonstrate its esoteric teachings. In this class, I will use some references to Jewish teaching and also others, as the Rumi quote or images from literature. Kabbalah uses numbers, letters, sounds, and many other attributes to instruct practitioners about its essence. Our workshop will reveal an aspect of Kabbalah that is related to behavior, which is how we appear in the world, and the choices that we make in acting in the world. We will consider some options provided by Kabbalah and perform a meditation to work on personal issues. In addressing these issues, we must be prepared to encounter unpleasant forces and learn how to balance our energies to strengthen the positive energies shown on the Tree of Life on the left.
  • 3. www.kabbalah-dating.com The Tree of Life has 10 Sephirah, or Emanations, with 22 Paths connecting them. In “3-D” this looks like a sphere with many intersecting lines... Static and dynamic attributes, such as foods and colors, and personality traits are associated with the Emanations and Paths. I consider each one of these routes and intersections to be “Attribute Entry Points” to spiritual potential. They occur to us during the day as feelings, sensations, memories,Photo by Jeff Andrews: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=4470472400780&set=a.2774181994580.2152290.1258953366&type etc.=1&ref=nf

  • 7. www.kabbalah-dating.comDestructive forces in our universe, known as Qlippoth or Sheddim, (idols of the heathen) prevent us from obtaining joy and a connection to the divine. This work is challening – when we truly contemplate the attributes. It can be exceptionally painful. Look at this picture from “Paradise Lost,” and discuss how negative traits can truly be destructive... Spiritual healing can create a physical sensation that is frightening, especially when you are hoping to improve your emotions. In order to advance towards the light We are going to do a meditation.First, think of your quality. Think of how it has affected your life. Ponder why youIn Jewish meditation, we ask for divine guidance in order to walk in Gods truth, (Psalm 86) Using some of Professor Haralicks information, our sessions will describe a personalized plan for moving from a vice that you choose to the opposite virtue, placing the two attributes on a gestalt, or psychological extreme.
